فَٱسْتَجَابَ Then responded fa-is'tajāba to them lahum their Lord rabbuhum Indeed, I annī (will) not lā (let go) waste uḍīʿu deeds ʿamala (of the) doer ʿāmilin among you minkum [from] min (whether) male dhakarin or aw female unthā each of you baʿḍukum from min (the) other baʿḍin So those who fa-alladhīna emigrated hājarū and were driven out wa-ukh'rijū from min their homes diyārihim and were harmed waūdhū in fī My way sabīlī and fought waqātalū and were killed waqutilū surely I (will) remove la-ukaffiranna from them ʿanhum their evil deeds sayyiātihim and surely I will admit them wala-ud'khilannahum (to) Gardens jannātin flowing tajrī from min underneath them taḥtihā the rivers l-anhāru a reward thawāban from min [near] ʿindi Allah l-lahi And Allah wal-lahu with Him ʿindahu (is the) best ḥus'nu reward l-thawābi
And their Lord responded to them, "Never will I allow to be lost the work of [any] worker among you, whether male or female; you are of one another. So those who emigrated or were evicted from their homes or were harmed in My cause or fought or were killed - I will surely remove from them their misdeeds, and I will surely admit them to gardens beneath which rivers flow as reward from Allāh, and Allāh has with Him the best reward."
لَا (Let) not lā deceive you yaghurrannaka (the) movement taqallubu (of) those who alladhīna disbelieved kafarū in fī the land l-bilādi
Be not deceived by the [uninhibited] movement of the disbelievers throughout the land.
مَتَـٰعٌۭ An enjoyment matāʿun little qalīlun then thumma their abode mawāhum (is) hell jahannamu [and] a wretched wabi'sa [the] resting place l-mihādu
[It is but] a small enjoyment; then their [final] refuge is Hell, and wretched is the resting place.
لَـٰكِنِ But lākini those who alladhīna fear ittaqaw their Lord rabbahum for them lahum (will be) Gardens jannātun flows tajrī from min underneath them taḥtihā the rivers l-anhāru will abide forever khālidīna in it fīhā a hospitality nuzulan from min [near] ʿindi Allah l-lahi And what wamā (is) with ʿinda Allah l-lahi (is) best khayrun for the righteous lil'abrāri
But those who feared their Lord will have gardens beneath which rivers flow, abiding eternally therein, as accommodation from Allāh. And that which is with Allāh is best for the righteous.
وَإِنَّ And indeed wa-inna among min (the) People ahli (of) the Book l-kitābi (are those) who laman believe yu'minu in Allah bil-lahi and what wamā was revealed unzila to you ilaykum and what wamā was revealed unzila to them ilayhim humbly submissive khāshiʿīna to Allah lillahi Not lā (do) they exchange yashtarūna [with] (the) Verses biāyāti (of) Allah l-lahi (for) a price thamanan little qalīlan Those ulāika for them lahum their reward ajruhum (is) with ʿinda their Lord rabbihim Indeed inna Allah l-laha (is) swift sarīʿu (in taking) the account l-ḥisābi
And indeed, among the People of the Scripture are those who believe in Allāh and what was revealed to you and what was revealed to them, [being] humbly submissive to Allāh. They do not exchange the verses of Allāh for a small price. Those will have their reward with their Lord. Indeed, Allāh is swift in account.
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا O you yāayyuhā who alladhīna believe[d] āmanū Be steadfast iṣ'birū and [be] patient waṣābirū and [be] constant warābiṭū and fear wa-ittaqū Allah l-laha so that you may laʿallakum (be) successful tuf'liḥūna
O you who have believed, persevere1 and endure2 and remain stationed3 and fear Allāh that you may be successful.
