الروم
غُلِبَتِ Have been defeated ghulibati the Romans l-rūmu
The Byzantines have been defeated1
فِىٓ In fī (the) nearest adnā land l-arḍi But they wahum after min after baʿdi their defeat ghalabihim will overcome sayaghlibūna
In the nearest land.1 But they, after their defeat, will overcome
فِى Within fī a few biḍ'ʿi years sinīna For Allah lillahi (is) the command l-amru before min before qablu and after wamin and after baʿdu And that day wayawma-idhin will rejoice yafraḥu the believers l-mu'minūna
Within three to nine years. To Allāh belongs the command [i.e., decree] before and after. And that day the believers will rejoice
بِنَصْرِ With (the) help binaṣri (of) Allah l-lahi He helps yanṣuru whom man He wills yashāu And He wahuwa (is) the All-Mighty l-ʿazīzu the Most Merciful l-raḥīmu
In the victory of Allāh.1 He gives victory to whom He wills, and He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful.
وَعْدَ (It is the) Promise waʿda (of) Allah l-lahi (Does) not lā fail yukh'lifu Allah l-lahu (in) His promise waʿdahu but walākinna most (of) akthara [the] people l-nāsi (do) not lā know yaʿlamūna
[It is] the promise of Allāh. Allāh does not fail in His promise, but most of the people do not know.
يَعْلَمُونَ They know yaʿlamūna (the) apparent ẓāhiran of mina the life l-ḥayati (of) the world l-dun'yā but they wahum about ʿani the Hereafter l-ākhirati [they] hum (are) heedless ghāfilūna
They know what is apparent of the worldly life, but they, of the Hereafter, are unaware.
أَوَلَمْ Do not awalam they ponder yatafakkarū within fī themselves anfusihim Not mā Allah (has) created khalaqa Allah (has) created l-lahu the heavens l-samāwāti and the earth wal-arḍa and what wamā (is) between them baynahumā except illā in truth bil-ḥaqi and (for) a term wa-ajalin appointed musamman And indeed wa-inna many kathīran of mina the people l-nāsi in (the) meeting biliqāi (with) their Lord rabbihim surely (are) disbelievers lakāfirūna
Do they not contemplate within themselves?1 Allāh has not created the heavens and the earth and what is between them except in truth and for a specified term. And indeed, many of the people, in the meeting with their Lord, are disbelievers.
أَوَلَمْ Have not awalam they traveled yasīrū in fī the earth l-arḍi and observed fayanẓurū how kayfa was kāna (the) end ʿāqibatu (of) those alladhīna before them min before them qablihim They were kānū mightier ashadda than them min'hum (in) strength quwwatan and they dug wa-athārū the earth l-arḍa and built (on) it waʿamarūhā more akthara than what mimmā they have built (on) it ʿamarūhā And came (to) them wajāathum their Messengers rusuluhum with clear proofs bil-bayināti So not famā was kāna Allah l-lahu to wrong them liyaẓlimahum but walākin they were kānū themselves anfusahum (doing) wrong yaẓlimūna
Have they not traveled through the earth and observed how was the end of those before them? They were greater than them in power, and they plowed [or excavated] the earth and built it up more than they [i.e., the Makkans] have built it up, and their messengers came to them with clear evidences. And Allāh would not ever have wronged them, but they were wronging themselves.
ثُمَّ Then thumma was kāna (the) end ʿāqibata (of) those who alladhīna did evil asāū the evil l-sūā because an they denied kadhabū (the) Signs biāyāti (of) Allah l-lahi and were wakānū of them bihā making mockery yastahziūna
Then the end of those who did evil was the worst [consequence] because they denied the signs of Allāh and used to ridicule them.
ٱللَّهُ Allah al-lahu originates yabda-u the creation l-khalqa then thumma He repeats it yuʿīduhu then thumma to Him ilayhi you will be returned tur'jaʿūna
Allāh begins creation; then He will repeat it; then to Him you will be returned.
وَيَوْمَ And (the) Day wayawma will (be) established taqūmu the Hour l-sāʿatu will (be in) despair yub'lisu the criminals l-muj'rimūna
And the Day the Hour appears the criminals will be in despair.
وَلَمْ And not walam will be yakun for them lahum among min theirs partners shurakāihim any intercessors shufaʿāu and they will be wakānū in their partners bishurakāihim disbelievers kāfirīna
And there will not be for them among their [alleged] partners any intercessors, and they will [then] be disbelievers in their partners.
وَيَوْمَ And (the) Day wayawma will (be) established taqūmu the Hour l-sāʿatu that Day yawma-idhin they will become separated yatafarraqūna
And the Day the Hour appears - that Day they will become separated.
فَأَمَّا Then as for fa-ammā those who alladhīna believed āmanū and did waʿamilū righteous deeds l-ṣāliḥāti so they fahum in fī a Garden rawḍatin will be delighted yuḥ'barūna
And as for those who had believed and done righteous deeds, they will be in a garden [of Paradise], delighted.
وَأَمَّا But as for wa-ammā those who alladhīna disbelieved kafarū and denied wakadhabū Our Signs biāyātinā and (the) meeting waliqāi (of) the Hereafter l-ākhirati then those fa-ulāika in fī the punishment l-ʿadhābi (will be) brought forth muḥ'ḍarūna
But as for those who disbelieved and denied Our verses and the meeting of the Hereafter, those will be brought into the punishment [to remain].
فَسُبْحَـٰنَ So glory be to fasub'ḥāna Allah l-lahi when ḥīna you reach the evening tum'sūna and when waḥīna you reach the morning tuṣ'biḥūna
So exalted is Allāh when you reach the evening and when you reach the morning.
وَلَهُ And for Him walahu (are) all praises l-ḥamdu in fī the heavens l-samāwāti and the earth wal-arḍi and (at) night waʿashiyyan and when waḥīna you are at noon tuẓ'hirūna
And to Him is [due all] praise throughout the heavens and the earth. And [exalted is He] at night and when you are at noon.
يُخْرِجُ He brings forth yukh'riju the living l-ḥaya from mina the dead l-mayiti and He brings forth wayukh'riju the dead l-mayita from mina the living l-ḥayi and He gives life wayuḥ'yī (to) the earth l-arḍa after baʿda its death mawtihā and thus wakadhālika you will be brought forth tukh'rajūna
He brings the living out of the dead and brings the dead out of the living and brings to life the earth after its lifelessness. And thus will you be brought out.1
وَمِنْ And among wamin His Signs āyātihi (is) that an He created you khalaqakum from min dust turābin then thumma behold idhā You antum (are) human beings basharun dispersing tantashirūna
And of His signs is that He created you from dust; then, suddenly you were human beings dispersing [throughout the earth].
وَمِنْ And among wamin His Signs āyātihi (is) that an He created khalaqa for you lakum from min yourselves anfusikum mates azwājan that you may find tranquility litaskunū in them ilayhā and He placed wajaʿala between you baynakum love mawaddatan and mercy waraḥmatan Indeed inna in fī that dhālika surely (are) Signs laāyātin for a people liqawmin who reflect yatafakkarūna
And of His signs is that He created for you from yourselves mates that you may find tranquility in them; and He placed between you affection and mercy. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought.
وَمِنْ And among wamin His Signs āyātihi (is the) creation khalqu (of) the heavens l-samāwāti and the earth wal-arḍi and the diversity wa-ikh'tilāfu (of) your languages alsinatikum and your colors wa-alwānikum Indeed inna in fī that dhālika surely (are) Signs laāyātin for those of knowledge lil'ʿālimīna
And of His signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth and the diversity of your languages and your colors. Indeed in that are signs for those of knowledge.
وَمِنْ And among wamin His Signs āyātihi (is) your sleep manāmukum by night bi-al-layli and the day wal-nahāri [and] your seeking wa-ib'tighāukum of min His Bounty faḍlihi Indeed inna in fī that dhālika surely (are) Signs laāyātin for a people liqawmin who listen yasmaʿūna
And of His signs is your sleep by night and day and your seeking of His bounty. Indeed in that are signs for a people who listen.
وَمِنْ And among wamin His Signs āyātihi He shows you yurīkumu the lightning l-barqa (causing) fear khawfan and hope waṭamaʿan and He sends down wayunazzilu from mina the sky l-samāi water māan and gives life fayuḥ'yī therewith bihi (to) the earth l-arḍa after baʿda its death mawtihā Indeed inna in fī that dhālika surely (are) Signs laāyātin for a people liqawmin who use intellect yaʿqilūna
And of His signs is [that] He shows you the lightning [causing] fear and aspiration, and He sends down rain from the sky by which He brings to life the earth after its lifelessness. Indeed in that are signs for a people who use reason.
وَمِنْ And among wamin His Signs āyātihi (is) that an stands taqūma the heavens l-samāu and the earth wal-arḍu by His Command bi-amrihi Then thumma when idhā He calls you daʿākum (with) a call daʿwatan from mina the earth l-arḍi behold idhā You antum will come forth takhrujūna
And of His signs is that the heaven and earth stand [i.e., remain] by His command. Then when He calls you with a [single] call from the earth, immediately you will come forth.
وَلَهُۥ And to Him (belongs) walahu whoever man (is) in fī the heavens l-samāwāti and the earth wal-arḍi All kullun to Him lahu (are) obedient qānitūna
And to Him belongs whoever is in the heavens and earth. All are to Him devoutly obedient.
وَهُوَ And He wahuwa (is) the One Who alladhī originates yabda-u the creation l-khalqa then thumma repeats it yuʿīduhu and it wahuwa (is) easier ahwanu for Him ʿalayhi And for Him walahu (is) the description l-mathalu the highest l-aʿlā in fī the heavens l-samāwāti and the earth wal-arḍi And He wahuwa (is) the All-Mighty l-ʿazīzu the All-Wise l-ḥakīmu
And it is He who begins creation; then He repeats it, and that is [even] easier for Him. To Him belongs the highest description [i.e., attribute] in the heavens and earth. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
ضَرَبَ He sets forth ḍaraba to you lakum an example mathalan from min yourselves anfusikum Is hal for you lakum among min what mā possess malakat your right hands aymānukum any min partners shurakāa in fī what mā We have provided you razaqnākum so you fa-antum in it fīhi (are) equal sawāon you fear them takhāfūnahum as you fear kakhīfatikum yourselves anfusakum Thus kadhālika We explain nufaṣṣilu the Verses l-āyāti for a people liqawmin (who) use reason yaʿqilūna
He presents to you an example from yourselves. Do you have among those whom your right hands possess [i.e., slaves] any partners in what We have provided for you so that you are equal therein [and] would fear them as your fear of one another [within a partnership]?1 Thus do We detail the verses for a people who use reason.
بَلِ Nay bali follow ittabaʿa those who alladhīna do wrong ẓalamū their desires ahwāahum without bighayri knowledge ʿil'min Then who faman (can) guide yahdī (one) whom man Allah has let go astray aḍalla Allah has let go astray l-lahu And not wamā for them lahum any min helpers nāṣirīna
But those who wrong follow their [own] desires without knowledge. Then who can guide one whom Allāh has sent astray? And for them there are no helpers.
فَأَقِمْ So set fa-aqim your face wajhaka to the religion lilddīni upright ḥanīfan Nature fiṭ'rata (made by) Allah l-lahi (upon) which allatī He has created faṭara mankind l-nāsa [on it] ʿalayhā No lā change tabdīla (should there be) in the creation likhalqi (of) Allah l-lahi That dhālika (is) the religion l-dīnu the correct l-qayimu but walākinna most akthara men l-nāsi (do) not lā know yaʿlamūna
So direct your face [i.e., self] toward the religion, inclining to truth. [Adhere to] the fiṭrah1 of Allāh upon which He has created [all] people. No change should there be in the creation of Allāh.2 That is the correct religion, but most of the people do not know.
۞ مُنِيبِينَ Turning munībīna to Him ilayhi and fear Him wa-ittaqūhu and establish wa-aqīmū the prayer l-ṣalata and (do) not walā be takūnū of mina the polytheists l-mush'rikīna
[Adhere to it], turning in repentance to Him, and fear Him and establish prayer and do not be of those who associate others with Allāh
مِنَ Of mina those who alladhīna divide farraqū their religion dīnahum and become wakānū sects shiyaʿan each kullu party ḥiz'bin in what bimā they have ladayhim rejoicing fariḥūna
[Or] of those who have divided their religion and become sects, every faction rejoicing in what it has.1
وَإِذَا And when wa-idhā touches massa people l-nāsa hardship ḍurrun they call daʿaw their Lord rabbahum turning munībīna to Him ilayhi Then thumma when idhā He causes them to taste adhāqahum from Him min'hu Mercy raḥmatan behold idhā A party farīqun of them min'hum with their Lord birabbihim associate partners yush'rikūna
And when adversity touches the people, they call upon their Lord, turning in repentance to Him. Then when He lets them taste mercy from Him, at once a party of them associate others with their Lord,
لِيَكْفُرُوا۟ So as to deny liyakfurū [in] what bimā We have granted them ātaynāhum Then enjoy fatamattaʿū but soon fasawfa you will know taʿlamūna
So that they will deny what We have granted them.1 Then enjoy yourselves, for you are going to know.
أَمْ Or am have We sent anzalnā to them ʿalayhim an authority sul'ṭānan and it fahuwa speaks yatakallamu of what bimā they were kānū with Him bihi associating yush'rikūna
Or have We sent down to them an authority [i.e., a proof or scripture], and it speaks of what they have been associating with Him?
وَإِذَآ And when wa-idhā We cause people to taste adhaqnā We cause people to taste l-nāsa mercy raḥmatan they rejoice fariḥū therein bihā But if wa-in afflicts them tuṣib'hum an evil sayyi-atun for what bimā have sent forth qaddamat their hands aydīhim behold idhā They hum despair yaqnaṭūna
And when We let the people taste mercy, they rejoice therein, but if evil afflicts them for what their hands have put forth, immediately they despair.
أَوَلَمْ Do not awalam they see yaraw that anna Allah l-laha extends yabsuṭu the provision l-riz'qa for whom liman He wills yashāu and straitens (it) wayaqdiru Indeed inna in fī that dhālika surely (are) Signs laāyātin for a people liqawmin who believe yu'minūna
Do they not see that Allāh extends provision for whom He wills and restricts [it]? Indeed in that are signs for a people who believe.
فَـَٔاتِ So give faāti the relative dhā the relative l-qur'bā his right ḥaqqahu and the poor wal-mis'kīna and the wayfarer wa-ib'na and the wayfarer l-sabīli That dhālika (is) best khayrun for those who lilladhīna desire yurīdūna (the) Countenance wajha (of) Allah l-lahi And those wa-ulāika they humu (are) the successful ones l-muf'liḥūna
So give the relative his right, as well as the needy and the traveler. That is best for those who desire the face [i.e., approval] of Allāh, and it is they who will be the successful.
وَمَآ And what wamā you give ātaytum for min usury riban to increase liyarbuwā in fī (the) wealth amwāli (of) people l-nāsi not falā (will) increase yarbū with ʿinda Allah l-lahi But what wamā you give ātaytum of min zakah zakatin desiring turīdūna (the) Countenance wajha (of) Allah l-lahi then those fa-ulāika [they] humu (will) get manifold l-muḍ'ʿifūna
And whatever you give for interest [i.e., advantage] to increase within the wealth of people1 will not increase with Allāh. But what you give in zakāh,2 desiring the face [i.e., approval] of Allāh - those are the multipliers.3
ٱللَّهُ Allah al-lahu (is) the One Who alladhī created you khalaqakum then thumma He provided (for) you razaqakum then thumma He will cause you to die yumītukum then thumma He will give you life yuḥ'yīkum Is (there) hal any min (of) your partners shurakāikum who man does yafʿalu of min that dhālikum any min thing shayin Glory be to Him sub'ḥānahu and exalted is He wataʿālā above what ʿammā they associate yush'rikūna
Allāh is the one who created you, then provided for you, then will cause you to die, and then will give you life. Are there any of your "partners" who does anything of that? Exalted is He and high above what they associate with Him.
ظَهَرَ Has appeared ẓahara the corruption l-fasādu in fī the land l-bari and the sea wal-baḥri for what bimā have earned kasabat (the) hands aydī (of) people l-nāsi so that He may let them taste liyudhīqahum a part baʿḍa (of) that which alladhī they have done ʿamilū so that they may laʿallahum return yarjiʿūna
Corruption has appeared throughout the land and sea by [reason of] what the hands of people have earned so He [i.e., Allāh] may let them taste part of [the consequence of] what they have done that perhaps they will return [to righteousness].
قُلْ Say qul Travel sīrū in fī the earth l-arḍi and see fa-unẓurū how kayfa was kāna (the) end ʿāqibatu (of) those who alladhīna (were) before min (were) before qablu Most of them were kāna Most of them were aktharuhum polytheists mush'rikīna
Say, [O Muḥammad], "Travel through the land and observe how was the end of those before. Most of them were associators [of others with Allāh].
فَأَقِمْ So set fa-aqim your face wajhaka to the religion lilddīni right l-qayimi before min before qabli [that] an comes yatiya a Day yawmun not lā (can be) averted maradda [it] lahu from mina Allah l-lahi That Day yawma-idhin they will be divided yaṣṣaddaʿūna
So direct your face [i.e., self] toward the correct religion before a Day comes from Allāh of which there is no repelling. That Day, they will be divided.1
مَن Whoever man disbelieves kafara then against him faʿalayhi (is) his disbelief kuf'ruhu And whoever waman does ʿamila righteousness ṣāliḥan then for themselves fali-anfusihim they are preparing yamhadūna
Whoever disbelieves - upon him is [the consequence of] his disbelief. And whoever does righteousness - they are for themselves preparing,
لِيَجْزِىَ That He may reward liyajziya those who alladhīna believe āmanū and do waʿamilū righteous deeds l-ṣāliḥāti (out) of min His Bounty faḍlihi Indeed, He innahu (does) not lā like yuḥibbu the disbelievers l-kāfirīna
That He may reward those who have believed and done righteous deeds out of His bounty. Indeed, He does not like the disbelievers.
وَمِنْ And among wamin His Signs āyātihi (is) that an He sends yur'sila the winds l-riyāḥa (as) bearers of glad tidings mubashirātin and to let you taste waliyudhīqakum of min His Mercy raḥmatihi and that may sail walitajriya the ships l-ful'ku at His Command bi-amrihi and that you may seek walitabtaghū of min His Bounty faḍlihi and that you may walaʿallakum be grateful tashkurūna
And of His signs is that He sends the winds as bringers of good tidings and to let you taste His mercy [i.e., rain] and so the ships may sail at His command and so you may seek of His bounty, and perhaps you will be grateful.
وَلَقَدْ And verily walaqad We sent arsalnā before you min before you qablika Messengers rusulan to ilā their people qawmihim and they came to them fajāūhum with clear proofs bil-bayināti then We took retribution fa-intaqamnā from mina those who alladhīna committed crimes ajramū And it was wakāna incumbent ḥaqqan upon Us ʿalaynā (to) help naṣru the believers l-mu'minīna
And We have already sent messengers before you to their peoples, and they came to them with clear evidences; then We took retribution from those who committed crimes, and incumbent upon Us was support1 of the believers.
ٱللَّهُ Allah al-lahu (is) the One Who alladhī sends yur'silu the winds l-riyāḥa so they raise fatuthīru (the) clouds saḥāban then He spreads them fayabsuṭuhu in fī the sky l-samāi how kayfa He wills yashāu and He makes them wayajʿaluhu fragments kisafan so you see fatarā the rain l-wadqa coming forth yakhruju from min their midst khilālihi Then when fa-idhā He causes it to fall on aṣāba He causes it to fall on bihi whom man He wills yashāu of min His slaves ʿibādihi behold idhā They hum rejoice yastabshirūna
It is Allāh who sends the winds, and they stir the clouds and spread them in the sky however He wills, and He makes them fragments so you see the rain emerge from within them. And when He causes it to fall upon whom He wills of His servants, immediately they rejoice
وَإِن And certainly wa-in they were kānū before min before qabli [that] an it was sent down yunazzala upon them ʿalayhim [before it] min [before it] qablihi surely in despair lamub'lisīna
Although they were, before it was sent down upon them - before that, in despair.
فَٱنظُرْ So look fa-unẓur at ilā (the) effects āthāri (of the) Mercy raḥmati (of) Allah l-lahi how kayfa He gives life yuḥ'yī (to) the earth l-arḍa after baʿda its death mawtihā Indeed inna that dhālika surely He (will) give life lamuḥ'yī (to) the dead l-mawtā And He wahuwa (is) on ʿalā every kulli thing shayin All-Powerful qadīrun
So observe the effects of the mercy of Allāh - how He gives life to the earth after its lifelessness. Indeed, that [same one] will give life to the dead, and He is over all things competent.
وَلَئِنْ But if wala-in We sent arsalnā a wind rīḥan and they see it fara-awhu turn yellow muṣ'farran certainly they continue laẓallū after it min after it baʿdihi (in) disbelief yakfurūna
But if We should send a [bad] wind and they saw [their crops] turned yellow, they would remain thereafter disbelievers.1
فَإِنَّكَ So indeed, you fa-innaka (can) not lā make the dead hear tus'miʿu make the dead hear l-mawtā and not walā make the deaf hear tus'miʿu make the deaf hear l-ṣuma the call l-duʿāa when idhā they turn wallaw retreating mud'birīna
So indeed, you will not make the dead hear, nor will you make the deaf hear the call when they turn their backs, retreating.
وَمَآ And not wamā you anta can guide bihādi the blind l-ʿum'yi from ʿan their error ḍalālatihim Not in you can make hear tus'miʿu except illā (those) who man believe yu'minu in Our Verses biāyātinā so they fahum surrender mus'limūna
And you cannot guide the blind away from their error. You will only make hear those who believe in Our verses so they are Muslims [in submission to Allāh].
۞ ٱللَّهُ Allah al-lahu (is) the One Who alladhī created you khalaqakum from min weakness ḍaʿfin then thumma made jaʿala after min after baʿdi weakness ḍaʿfin strength quwwatan then thumma made jaʿala after min after baʿdi strength quwwatin weakness ḍaʿfan and gray hair washaybatan He creates yakhluqu what mā He wills yashāu and He wahuwa (is) the All-Knower l-ʿalīmu the All-Powerful l-qadīru
Allāh is the one who created you from weakness, then made after weakness strength, then made after strength weakness and white hair. He creates what He wills, and He is the Knowing, the Competent.
وَيَوْمَ And (the) Day wayawma will (be) established taqūmu the Hour l-sāʿatu will swear yuq'simu the criminals l-muj'rimūna not mā they remained labithū but ghayra an hour sāʿatin Thus kadhālika they were kānū deluded yu'fakūna
And the Day the Hour appears the criminals will swear they had remained but an hour. Thus they were deluded.
وَقَالَ But will say waqāla those who alladhīna were given ūtū the knowledge l-ʿil'ma and the faith wal-īmāna Verily laqad you remained labith'tum by fī (the) Decree kitābi (of) Allah l-lahi until ilā (the) Day yawmi (of) Resurrection l-baʿthi And this fahādhā (is the) Day yawmu (of) the Resurrection l-baʿthi but you walākinnakum were kuntum not lā knowing taʿlamūna
But those who were given knowledge and faith will say, "You remained the extent of Allāh's decree until the Day of Resurrection, and this is the Day of Resurrection, but you did not used to know."1
فَيَوْمَئِذٍۢ So that Day fayawma-idhin not lā will profit yanfaʿu those who alladhīna wronged ẓalamū their excuses maʿdhiratuhum and not walā they hum will be allowed to make amends yus'taʿtabūna
So that Day, their excuse will not benefit those who wronged, nor will they be asked to appease [Allāh].
وَلَقَدْ And verily walaqad We (have) set forth ḍarabnā for mankind lilnnāsi in fī this hādhā [the] Quran l-qur'āni of min every kulli example mathalin But if wala-in you bring them ji'tahum a sign biāyatin surely will say layaqūlanna those who alladhīna disbelieve kafarū Not in you antum (are) except illā falsifiers mub'ṭilūna
And We have certainly presented to the people in this Qur’ān from every [kind of] example. But, [O Muḥammad], if you should bring them a sign, the disbelievers will surely say, "You [believers] are but falsifiers."
كَذَٰلِكَ Thus kadhālika Allah seals yaṭbaʿu Allah seals l-lahu [on] ʿalā (the) hearts qulūbi (of) those who alladhīna (do) not lā know yaʿlamūna
Thus does Allāh seal the hearts of those who do not know.1
فَٱصْبِرْ So be patient fa-iṣ'bir Indeed inna (the) Promise waʿda (of) Allah l-lahi (is) true ḥaqqun And (let) not walā take you in light estimation yastakhiffannaka those who alladhīna (are) not lā certain in faith yūqinūna
So be patient. Indeed, the promise of Allāh is truth. And let them not disquiet you who are not certain [in faith].
