— Saheeh International

غُلِبَتِ

Have been defeated

ghulibati

ٱلرُّومُ

the Romans

l-rūmu

٢

The Byzantines have been defeated1

— Saheeh International

فِىٓ

In

أَدْنَى

(the) nearest

adnā

ٱلْأَرْضِ

land

l-arḍi

وَهُم

But they

wahum

مِّنۢ

after

min

بَعْدِ

after

baʿdi

غَلَبِهِمْ

their defeat

ghalabihim

سَيَغْلِبُونَ

will overcome

sayaghlibūna

٣

In the nearest land.1 But they, after their defeat, will overcome

— Saheeh International

فِى

Within

بِضْعِ

a few

biḍ'ʿi

سِنِينَ ۗ

years

sinīna

لِلَّهِ

For Allah

lillahi

ٱلْأَمْرُ

(is) the command

l-amru

مِن

before

min

قَبْلُ

before

qablu

وَمِنۢ

and after

wamin

بَعْدُ ۚ

and after

baʿdu

وَيَوْمَئِذٍۢ

And that day

wayawma-idhin

يَفْرَحُ

will rejoice

yafraḥu

ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ

the believers

l-mu'minūna

٤

Within three to nine years. To Allāh belongs the command [i.e., decree] before and after. And that day the believers will rejoice

— Saheeh International

بِنَصْرِ

With (the) help

binaṣri

ٱللَّهِ ۚ

(of) Allah

l-lahi

يَنصُرُ

He helps

yanṣuru

مَن

whom

man

يَشَآءُ ۖ

He wills

yashāu

وَهُوَ

And He

wahuwa

ٱلْعَزِيزُ

(is) the All-Mighty

l-ʿazīzu

ٱلرَّحِيمُ

the Most Merciful

l-raḥīmu

٥

In the victory of Allāh.1 He gives victory to whom He wills, and He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful.

— Saheeh International

وَعْدَ

(It is the) Promise

waʿda

ٱللَّهِ ۖ

(of) Allah

l-lahi

لَا

(Does) not

يُخْلِفُ

fail

yukh'lifu

ٱللَّهُ

Allah

l-lahu

وَعْدَهُۥ

(in) His promise

waʿdahu

وَلَـٰكِنَّ

but

walākinna

أَكْثَرَ

most (of)

akthara

ٱلنَّاسِ

[the] people

l-nāsi

لَا

(do) not

يَعْلَمُونَ

know

yaʿlamūna

٦

[It is] the promise of Allāh. Allāh does not fail in His promise, but most of the people do not know.

— Saheeh International

يَعْلَمُونَ

They know

yaʿlamūna

ظَـٰهِرًۭا

(the) apparent

ẓāhiran

مِّنَ

of

mina

ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ

the life

l-ḥayati

ٱلدُّنْيَا

(of) the world

l-dun'yā

وَهُمْ

but they

wahum

عَنِ

about

ʿani

ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ

the Hereafter

l-ākhirati

هُمْ

[they]

hum

غَـٰفِلُونَ

(are) heedless

ghāfilūna

٧

They know what is apparent of the worldly life, but they, of the Hereafter, are unaware.

— Saheeh International

أَوَلَمْ

Do not

awalam

يَتَفَكَّرُوا۟

they ponder

yatafakkarū

فِىٓ

within

أَنفُسِهِم ۗ

themselves

anfusihim

مَّا

Not

خَلَقَ

Allah (has) created

khalaqa

ٱللَّهُ

Allah (has) created

l-lahu

ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ

the heavens

l-samāwāti

وَٱلْأَرْضَ

and the earth

wal-arḍa

وَمَا

and what

wamā

بَيْنَهُمَآ

(is) between them

baynahumā

إِلَّا

except

illā

بِٱلْحَقِّ

in truth

bil-ḥaqi

وَأَجَلٍۢ

and (for) a term

wa-ajalin

مُّسَمًّۭى ۗ

appointed

musamman

وَإِنَّ

And indeed

wa-inna

كَثِيرًۭا

many

kathīran

مِّنَ

of

mina

ٱلنَّاسِ

the people

l-nāsi

بِلِقَآئِ

in (the) meeting

biliqāi

رَبِّهِمْ

(with) their Lord

rabbihim

لَكَـٰفِرُونَ

surely (are) disbelievers

lakāfirūna

٨

Do they not contemplate within themselves?1 Allāh has not created the heavens and the earth and what is between them except in truth and for a specified term. And indeed, many of the people, in the meeting with their Lord, are disbelievers.

— Saheeh International

أَوَلَمْ

Have not

awalam

يَسِيرُوا۟

they traveled

yasīrū

فِى

in

ٱلْأَرْضِ

the earth

l-arḍi

فَيَنظُرُوا۟

and observed

fayanẓurū

كَيْفَ

how

kayfa

كَانَ

was

kāna

عَـٰقِبَةُ

(the) end

ʿāqibatu

ٱلَّذِينَ

(of) those

alladhīna

مِن

before them

min

قَبْلِهِمْ ۚ

before them

qablihim

كَانُوٓا۟

They were

kānū

أَشَدَّ

mightier

ashadda

مِنْهُمْ

than them

min'hum

قُوَّةًۭ

(in) strength

quwwatan

وَأَثَارُوا۟

and they dug

wa-athārū

ٱلْأَرْضَ

the earth

l-arḍa

وَعَمَرُوهَآ

and built (on) it

waʿamarūhā

أَكْثَرَ

more

akthara

مِمَّا

than what

mimmā

عَمَرُوهَا

they have built (on) it

ʿamarūhā

وَجَآءَتْهُمْ

And came (to) them

wajāathum

رُسُلُهُم

their Messengers

rusuluhum

بِٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِ ۖ

with clear proofs

bil-bayināti

فَمَا

So not

famā

كَانَ

was

kāna

ٱللَّهُ

Allah

l-lahu

لِيَظْلِمَهُمْ

to wrong them

liyaẓlimahum

وَلَـٰكِن

but

walākin

كَانُوٓا۟

they were

kānū

أَنفُسَهُمْ

themselves

anfusahum

يَظْلِمُونَ

(doing) wrong

yaẓlimūna

٩

Have they not traveled through the earth and observed how was the end of those before them? They were greater than them in power, and they plowed [or excavated] the earth and built it up more than they [i.e., the Makkans] have built it up, and their messengers came to them with clear evidences. And Allāh would not ever have wronged them, but they were wronging themselves.

— Saheeh International

ثُمَّ

Then

thumma

كَانَ

was

kāna

عَـٰقِبَةَ

(the) end

ʿāqibata

ٱلَّذِينَ

(of) those who

alladhīna

أَسَـٰٓـُٔوا۟

did evil

asāū

ٱلسُّوٓأَىٰٓ

the evil

l-sūā

أَن

because

an

كَذَّبُوا۟

they denied

kadhabū

بِـَٔايَـٰتِ

(the) Signs

biāyāti

ٱللَّهِ

(of) Allah

l-lahi

وَكَانُوا۟

and were

wakānū

بِهَا

of them

bihā

يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ

making mockery

yastahziūna

١٠

Then the end of those who did evil was the worst [consequence] because they denied the signs of Allāh and used to ridicule them.

— Saheeh International

ٱللَّهُ

Allah

al-lahu

يَبْدَؤُا۟

originates

yabda-u

ٱلْخَلْقَ

the creation

l-khalqa

ثُمَّ

then

thumma

يُعِيدُهُۥ

He repeats it

yuʿīduhu

ثُمَّ

then

thumma

إِلَيْهِ

to Him

ilayhi

تُرْجَعُونَ

you will be returned

tur'jaʿūna

١١

Allāh begins creation; then He will repeat it; then to Him you will be returned.

— Saheeh International

وَيَوْمَ

And (the) Day

wayawma

تَقُومُ

will (be) established

taqūmu

ٱلسَّاعَةُ

the Hour

l-sāʿatu

يُبْلِسُ

will (be in) despair

yub'lisu

ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ

the criminals

l-muj'rimūna

١٢

And the Day the Hour appears the criminals will be in despair.

— Saheeh International

وَلَمْ

And not

walam

يَكُن

will be

yakun

لَّهُم

for them

lahum

مِّن

among

min

شُرَكَآئِهِمْ

theirs partners

shurakāihim

شُفَعَـٰٓؤُا۟

any intercessors

shufaʿāu

وَكَانُوا۟

and they will be

wakānū

بِشُرَكَآئِهِمْ

in their partners

bishurakāihim

كَـٰفِرِينَ

disbelievers

kāfirīna

١٣

And there will not be for them among their [alleged] partners any intercessors, and they will [then] be disbelievers in their partners.

— Saheeh International

وَيَوْمَ

And (the) Day

wayawma

تَقُومُ

will (be) established

taqūmu

ٱلسَّاعَةُ

the Hour

l-sāʿatu

يَوْمَئِذٍۢ

that Day

yawma-idhin

يَتَفَرَّقُونَ

they will become separated

yatafarraqūna

١٤

And the Day the Hour appears - that Day they will become separated.

— Saheeh International

فَأَمَّا

Then as for

fa-ammā

ٱلَّذِينَ

those who

alladhīna

ءَامَنُوا۟

believed

āmanū

وَعَمِلُوا۟

and did

waʿamilū

ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ

righteous deeds

l-ṣāliḥāti

فَهُمْ

so they

fahum

فِى

in

رَوْضَةٍۢ

a Garden

rawḍatin

يُحْبَرُونَ

will be delighted

yuḥ'barūna

١٥

And as for those who had believed and done righteous deeds, they will be in a garden [of Paradise], delighted.

— Saheeh International

وَأَمَّا

But as for

wa-ammā

ٱلَّذِينَ

those who

alladhīna

كَفَرُوا۟

disbelieved

kafarū

وَكَذَّبُوا۟

and denied

wakadhabū

بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا

Our Signs

biāyātinā

وَلِقَآئِ

and (the) meeting

waliqāi

ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ

(of) the Hereafter

l-ākhirati

فَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ

then those

fa-ulāika

فِى

in

ٱلْعَذَابِ

the punishment

l-ʿadhābi

مُحْضَرُونَ

(will be) brought forth

muḥ'ḍarūna

١٦

But as for those who disbelieved and denied Our verses and the meeting of the Hereafter, those will be brought into the punishment [to remain].

— Saheeh International

فَسُبْحَـٰنَ

So glory be to

fasub'ḥāna

ٱللَّهِ

Allah

l-lahi

حِينَ

when

ḥīna

تُمْسُونَ

you reach the evening

tum'sūna

وَحِينَ

and when

waḥīna

تُصْبِحُونَ

you reach the morning

tuṣ'biḥūna

١٧

So exalted is Allāh when you reach the evening and when you reach the morning.

— Saheeh International

وَلَهُ

And for Him

walahu

ٱلْحَمْدُ

(are) all praises

l-ḥamdu

فِى

in

ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ

the heavens

l-samāwāti

وَٱلْأَرْضِ

and the earth

wal-arḍi

وَعَشِيًّۭا

and (at) night

waʿashiyyan

وَحِينَ

and when

waḥīna

تُظْهِرُونَ

you are at noon

tuẓ'hirūna

١٨

And to Him is [due all] praise throughout the heavens and the earth. And [exalted is He] at night and when you are at noon.

— Saheeh International

يُخْرِجُ

He brings forth

yukh'riju

ٱلْحَىَّ

the living

l-ḥaya

مِنَ

from

mina

ٱلْمَيِّتِ

the dead

l-mayiti

وَيُخْرِجُ

and He brings forth

wayukh'riju

ٱلْمَيِّتَ

the dead

l-mayita

مِنَ

from

mina

ٱلْحَىِّ

the living

l-ḥayi

وَيُحْىِ

and He gives life

wayuḥ'yī

ٱلْأَرْضَ

(to) the earth

l-arḍa

بَعْدَ

after

baʿda

مَوْتِهَا ۚ

its death

mawtihā

وَكَذَٰلِكَ

and thus

wakadhālika

تُخْرَجُونَ

you will be brought forth

tukh'rajūna

١٩

He brings the living out of the dead and brings the dead out of the living and brings to life the earth after its lifelessness. And thus will you be brought out.1

— Saheeh International

وَمِنْ

And among

wamin

ءَايَـٰتِهِۦٓ

His Signs

āyātihi

أَنْ

(is) that

an

خَلَقَكُم

He created you

khalaqakum

مِّن

from

min

تُرَابٍۢ

dust

turābin

ثُمَّ

then

thumma

إِذَآ

behold

idhā

أَنتُم

You

antum

بَشَرٌۭ

(are) human beings

basharun

تَنتَشِرُونَ

dispersing

tantashirūna

٢٠

And of His signs is that He created you from dust; then, suddenly you were human beings dispersing [throughout the earth].

— Saheeh International

وَمِنْ

And among

wamin

ءَايَـٰتِهِۦٓ

His Signs

āyātihi

أَنْ

(is) that

an

خَلَقَ

He created

khalaqa

لَكُم

for you

lakum

مِّنْ

from

min

أَنفُسِكُمْ

yourselves

anfusikum

أَزْوَٰجًۭا

mates

azwājan

لِّتَسْكُنُوٓا۟

that you may find tranquility

litaskunū

إِلَيْهَا

in them

ilayhā

وَجَعَلَ

and He placed

wajaʿala

بَيْنَكُم

between you

baynakum

مَّوَدَّةًۭ

love

mawaddatan

وَرَحْمَةً ۚ

and mercy

waraḥmatan

إِنَّ

Indeed

inna

فِى

in

ذَٰلِكَ

that

dhālika

لَـَٔايَـٰتٍۢ

surely (are) Signs

laāyātin

لِّقَوْمٍۢ

for a people

liqawmin

يَتَفَكَّرُونَ

who reflect

yatafakkarūna

٢١

And of His signs is that He created for you from yourselves mates that you may find tranquility in them; and He placed between you affection and mercy. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought.

— Saheeh International

وَمِنْ

And among

wamin

ءَايَـٰتِهِۦ

His Signs

āyātihi

خَلْقُ

(is the) creation

khalqu

ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ

(of) the heavens

l-samāwāti

وَٱلْأَرْضِ

and the earth

wal-arḍi

وَٱخْتِلَـٰفُ

and the diversity

wa-ikh'tilāfu

أَلْسِنَتِكُمْ

(of) your languages

alsinatikum

وَأَلْوَٰنِكُمْ ۚ

and your colors

wa-alwānikum

إِنَّ

Indeed

inna

فِى

in

ذَٰلِكَ

that

dhālika

لَـَٔايَـٰتٍۢ

surely (are) Signs

laāyātin

لِّلْعَـٰلِمِينَ

for those of knowledge

lil'ʿālimīna

٢٢

And of His signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth and the diversity of your languages and your colors. Indeed in that are signs for those of knowledge.

— Saheeh International

وَمِنْ

And among

wamin

ءَايَـٰتِهِۦ

His Signs

āyātihi

مَنَامُكُم

(is) your sleep

manāmukum

بِٱلَّيْلِ

by night

bi-al-layli

وَٱلنَّهَارِ

and the day

wal-nahāri

وَٱبْتِغَآؤُكُم

[and] your seeking

wa-ib'tighāukum

مِّن

of

min

فَضْلِهِۦٓ ۚ

His Bounty

faḍlihi

إِنَّ

Indeed

inna

فِى

in

ذَٰلِكَ

that

dhālika

لَـَٔايَـٰتٍۢ

surely (are) Signs

laāyātin

لِّقَوْمٍۢ

for a people

liqawmin

يَسْمَعُونَ

who listen

yasmaʿūna

٢٣

And of His signs is your sleep by night and day and your seeking of His bounty. Indeed in that are signs for a people who listen.

— Saheeh International

وَمِنْ

And among

wamin

ءَايَـٰتِهِۦ

His Signs

āyātihi

يُرِيكُمُ

He shows you

yurīkumu

ٱلْبَرْقَ

the lightning

l-barqa

خَوْفًۭا

(causing) fear

khawfan

وَطَمَعًۭا

and hope

waṭamaʿan

وَيُنَزِّلُ

and He sends down

wayunazzilu

مِنَ

from

mina

ٱلسَّمَآءِ

the sky

l-samāi

مَآءًۭ

water

māan

فَيُحْىِۦ

and gives life

fayuḥ'yī

بِهِ

therewith

bihi

ٱلْأَرْضَ

(to) the earth

l-arḍa

بَعْدَ

after

baʿda

مَوْتِهَآ ۚ

its death

mawtihā

إِنَّ

Indeed

inna

فِى

in

ذَٰلِكَ

that

dhālika

لَـَٔايَـٰتٍۢ

surely (are) Signs

laāyātin

لِّقَوْمٍۢ

for a people

liqawmin

يَعْقِلُونَ

who use intellect

yaʿqilūna

٢٤

And of His signs is [that] He shows you the lightning [causing] fear and aspiration, and He sends down rain from the sky by which He brings to life the earth after its lifelessness. Indeed in that are signs for a people who use reason.

— Saheeh International

وَمِنْ

And among

wamin

ءَايَـٰتِهِۦٓ

His Signs

āyātihi

أَن

(is) that

an

تَقُومَ

stands

taqūma

ٱلسَّمَآءُ

the heavens

l-samāu

وَٱلْأَرْضُ

and the earth

wal-arḍu

بِأَمْرِهِۦ ۚ

by His Command

bi-amrihi

ثُمَّ

Then

thumma

إِذَا

when

idhā

دَعَاكُمْ

He calls you

daʿākum

دَعْوَةًۭ

(with) a call

daʿwatan

مِّنَ

from

mina

ٱلْأَرْضِ

the earth

l-arḍi

إِذَآ

behold

idhā

أَنتُمْ

You

antum

تَخْرُجُونَ

will come forth

takhrujūna

٢٥

And of His signs is that the heaven and earth stand [i.e., remain] by His command. Then when He calls you with a [single] call from the earth, immediately you will come forth.

— Saheeh International

وَلَهُۥ

And to Him (belongs)

walahu

مَن

whoever

man

فِى

(is) in

ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ

the heavens

l-samāwāti

وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ

and the earth

wal-arḍi

كُلٌّۭ

All

kullun

لَّهُۥ

to Him

lahu

قَـٰنِتُونَ

(are) obedient

qānitūna

٢٦

And to Him belongs whoever is in the heavens and earth. All are to Him devoutly obedient.

— Saheeh International

وَهُوَ

And He

wahuwa

ٱلَّذِى

(is) the One Who

alladhī

يَبْدَؤُا۟

originates

yabda-u

ٱلْخَلْقَ

the creation

l-khalqa

ثُمَّ

then

thumma

يُعِيدُهُۥ

repeats it

yuʿīduhu

وَهُوَ

and it

wahuwa

أَهْوَنُ

(is) easier

ahwanu

عَلَيْهِ ۚ

for Him

ʿalayhi

وَلَهُ

And for Him

walahu

ٱلْمَثَلُ

(is) the description

l-mathalu

ٱلْأَعْلَىٰ

the highest

l-aʿlā

فِى

in

ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ

the heavens

l-samāwāti

وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ

and the earth

wal-arḍi

وَهُوَ

And He

wahuwa

ٱلْعَزِيزُ

(is) the All-Mighty

l-ʿazīzu

ٱلْحَكِيمُ

the All-Wise

l-ḥakīmu

٢٧

And it is He who begins creation; then He repeats it, and that is [even] easier for Him. To Him belongs the highest description [i.e., attribute] in the heavens and earth. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.

— Saheeh International

ضَرَبَ

He sets forth

ḍaraba

لَكُم

to you

lakum

مَّثَلًۭا

an example

mathalan

مِّنْ

from

min

أَنفُسِكُمْ ۖ

yourselves

anfusikum

هَل

Is

hal

لَّكُم

for you

lakum

مِّن

among

min

مَّا

what

مَلَكَتْ

possess

malakat

أَيْمَـٰنُكُم

your right hands

aymānukum

مِّن

any

min

شُرَكَآءَ

partners

shurakāa

فِى

in

مَا

what

رَزَقْنَـٰكُمْ

We have provided you

razaqnākum

فَأَنتُمْ

so you

fa-antum

فِيهِ

in it

fīhi

سَوَآءٌۭ

(are) equal

sawāon

تَخَافُونَهُمْ

you fear them

takhāfūnahum

كَخِيفَتِكُمْ

as you fear

kakhīfatikum

أَنفُسَكُمْ ۚ

yourselves

anfusakum

كَذَٰلِكَ

Thus

kadhālika

نُفَصِّلُ

We explain

nufaṣṣilu

ٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِ

the Verses

l-āyāti

لِقَوْمٍۢ

for a people

liqawmin

يَعْقِلُونَ

(who) use reason

yaʿqilūna

٢٨

He presents to you an example from yourselves. Do you have among those whom your right hands possess [i.e., slaves] any partners in what We have provided for you so that you are equal therein [and] would fear them as your fear of one another [within a partnership]?1 Thus do We detail the verses for a people who use reason.

— Saheeh International

بَلِ

Nay

bali

ٱتَّبَعَ

follow

ittabaʿa

ٱلَّذِينَ

those who

alladhīna

ظَلَمُوٓا۟

do wrong

ẓalamū

أَهْوَآءَهُم

their desires

ahwāahum

بِغَيْرِ

without

bighayri

عِلْمٍۢ ۖ

knowledge

ʿil'min

فَمَن

Then who

faman

يَهْدِى

(can) guide

yahdī

مَنْ

(one) whom

man

أَضَلَّ

Allah has let go astray

aḍalla

ٱللَّهُ ۖ

Allah has let go astray

l-lahu

وَمَا

And not

wamā

لَهُم

for them

lahum

مِّن

any

min

نَّـٰصِرِينَ

helpers

nāṣirīna

٢٩

But those who wrong follow their [own] desires without knowledge. Then who can guide one whom Allāh has sent astray? And for them there are no helpers.

— Saheeh International

فَأَقِمْ

So set

fa-aqim

وَجْهَكَ

your face

wajhaka

لِلدِّينِ

to the religion

lilddīni

حَنِيفًۭا ۚ

upright

ḥanīfan

فِطْرَتَ

Nature

fiṭ'rata

ٱللَّهِ

(made by) Allah

l-lahi

ٱلَّتِى

(upon) which

allatī

فَطَرَ

He has created

faṭara

ٱلنَّاسَ

mankind

l-nāsa

عَلَيْهَا ۚ

[on it]

ʿalayhā

لَا

No

تَبْدِيلَ

change

tabdīla

لِخَلْقِ

(should there be) in the creation

likhalqi

ٱللَّهِ ۚ

(of) Allah

l-lahi

ذَٰلِكَ

That

dhālika

ٱلدِّينُ

(is) the religion

l-dīnu

ٱلْقَيِّمُ

the correct

l-qayimu

وَلَـٰكِنَّ

but

walākinna

أَكْثَرَ

most

akthara

ٱلنَّاسِ

men

l-nāsi

لَا

(do) not

يَعْلَمُونَ

know

yaʿlamūna

٣٠

So direct your face [i.e., self] toward the religion, inclining to truth. [Adhere to] the fiṭrah1 of Allāh upon which He has created [all] people. No change should there be in the creation of Allāh.2 That is the correct religion, but most of the people do not know.

— Saheeh International

۞ مُنِيبِينَ

Turning

munībīna

إِلَيْهِ

to Him

ilayhi

وَٱتَّقُوهُ

and fear Him

wa-ittaqūhu

وَأَقِيمُوا۟

and establish

wa-aqīmū

ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ

the prayer

l-ṣalata

وَلَا

and (do) not

walā

تَكُونُوا۟

be

takūnū

مِنَ

of

mina

ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ

the polytheists

l-mush'rikīna

٣١

[Adhere to it], turning in repentance to Him, and fear Him and establish prayer and do not be of those who associate others with Allāh

— Saheeh International

مِنَ

Of

mina

ٱلَّذِينَ

those who

alladhīna

فَرَّقُوا۟

divide

farraqū

دِينَهُمْ

their religion

dīnahum

وَكَانُوا۟

and become

wakānū

شِيَعًۭا ۖ

sects

shiyaʿan

كُلُّ

each

kullu

حِزْبٍۭ

party

ḥiz'bin

بِمَا

in what

bimā

لَدَيْهِمْ

they have

ladayhim

فَرِحُونَ

rejoicing

fariḥūna

٣٢

[Or] of those who have divided their religion and become sects, every faction rejoicing in what it has.1

— Saheeh International

وَإِذَا

And when

wa-idhā

مَسَّ

touches

massa

ٱلنَّاسَ

people

l-nāsa

ضُرٌّۭ

hardship

ḍurrun

دَعَوْا۟

they call

daʿaw

رَبَّهُم

their Lord

rabbahum

مُّنِيبِينَ

turning

munībīna

إِلَيْهِ

to Him

ilayhi

ثُمَّ

Then

thumma

إِذَآ

when

idhā

أَذَاقَهُم

He causes them to taste

adhāqahum

مِّنْهُ

from Him

min'hu

رَحْمَةً

Mercy

raḥmatan

إِذَا

behold

idhā

فَرِيقٌۭ

A party

farīqun

مِّنْهُم

of them

min'hum

بِرَبِّهِمْ

with their Lord

birabbihim

يُشْرِكُونَ

associate partners

yush'rikūna

٣٣

And when adversity touches the people, they call upon their Lord, turning in repentance to Him. Then when He lets them taste mercy from Him, at once a party of them associate others with their Lord,

— Saheeh International

لِيَكْفُرُوا۟

So as to deny

liyakfurū

بِمَآ

[in] what

bimā

ءَاتَيْنَـٰهُمْ ۚ

We have granted them

ātaynāhum

فَتَمَتَّعُوا۟

Then enjoy

fatamattaʿū

فَسَوْفَ

but soon

fasawfa

تَعْلَمُونَ

you will know

taʿlamūna

٣٤

So that they will deny what We have granted them.1 Then enjoy yourselves, for you are going to know.

— Saheeh International

أَمْ

Or

am

أَنزَلْنَا

have We sent

anzalnā

عَلَيْهِمْ

to them

ʿalayhim

سُلْطَـٰنًۭا

an authority

sul'ṭānan

فَهُوَ

and it

fahuwa

يَتَكَلَّمُ

speaks

yatakallamu

بِمَا

of what

bimā

كَانُوا۟

they were

kānū

بِهِۦ

with Him

bihi

يُشْرِكُونَ

associating

yush'rikūna

٣٥

Or have We sent down to them an authority [i.e., a proof or scripture], and it speaks of what they have been associating with Him?

— Saheeh International

وَإِذَآ

And when

wa-idhā

أَذَقْنَا

We cause people to taste

adhaqnā

ٱلنَّاسَ

We cause people to taste

l-nāsa

رَحْمَةًۭ

mercy

raḥmatan

فَرِحُوا۟

they rejoice

fariḥū

بِهَا ۖ

therein

bihā

وَإِن

But if

wa-in

تُصِبْهُمْ

afflicts them

tuṣib'hum

سَيِّئَةٌۢ

an evil

sayyi-atun

بِمَا

for what

bimā

قَدَّمَتْ

have sent forth

qaddamat

أَيْدِيهِمْ

their hands

aydīhim

إِذَا

behold

idhā

هُمْ

They

hum

يَقْنَطُونَ

despair

yaqnaṭūna

٣٦

And when We let the people taste mercy, they rejoice therein, but if evil afflicts them for what their hands have put forth, immediately they despair.

— Saheeh International

أَوَلَمْ

Do not

awalam

يَرَوْا۟

they see

yaraw

أَنَّ

that

anna

ٱللَّهَ

Allah

l-laha

يَبْسُطُ

extends

yabsuṭu

ٱلرِّزْقَ

the provision

l-riz'qa

لِمَن

for whom

liman

يَشَآءُ

He wills

yashāu

وَيَقْدِرُ ۚ

and straitens (it)

wayaqdiru

إِنَّ

Indeed

inna

فِى

in

ذَٰلِكَ

that

dhālika

لَـَٔايَـٰتٍۢ

surely (are) Signs

laāyātin

لِّقَوْمٍۢ

for a people

liqawmin

يُؤْمِنُونَ

who believe

yu'minūna

٣٧

Do they not see that Allāh extends provision for whom He wills and restricts [it]? Indeed in that are signs for a people who believe.

— Saheeh International

فَـَٔاتِ

So give

faāti

ذَا

the relative

dhā

ٱلْقُرْبَىٰ

the relative

l-qur'bā

حَقَّهُۥ

his right

ḥaqqahu

وَٱلْمِسْكِينَ

and the poor

wal-mis'kīna

وَٱبْنَ

and the wayfarer

wa-ib'na

ٱلسَّبِيلِ ۚ

and the wayfarer

l-sabīli

ذَٰلِكَ

That

dhālika

خَيْرٌۭ

(is) best

khayrun

لِّلَّذِينَ

for those who

lilladhīna

يُرِيدُونَ

desire

yurīdūna

وَجْهَ

(the) Countenance

wajha

ٱللَّهِ ۖ

(of) Allah

l-lahi

وَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ

And those

wa-ulāika

هُمُ

they

humu

ٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ

(are) the successful ones

l-muf'liḥūna

٣٨

So give the relative his right, as well as the needy and the traveler. That is best for those who desire the face [i.e., approval] of Allāh, and it is they who will be the successful.

— Saheeh International

وَمَآ

And what

wamā

ءَاتَيْتُم

you give

ātaytum

مِّن

for

min

رِّبًۭا

usury

riban

لِّيَرْبُوَا۟

to increase

liyarbuwā

فِىٓ

in

أَمْوَٰلِ

(the) wealth

amwāli

ٱلنَّاسِ

(of) people

l-nāsi

فَلَا

not

falā

يَرْبُوا۟

(will) increase

yarbū

عِندَ

with

ʿinda

ٱللَّهِ ۖ

Allah

l-lahi

وَمَآ

But what

wamā

ءَاتَيْتُم

you give

ātaytum

مِّن

of

min

زَكَوٰةٍۢ

zakah

zakatin

تُرِيدُونَ

desiring

turīdūna

وَجْهَ

(the) Countenance

wajha

ٱللَّهِ

(of) Allah

l-lahi

فَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ

then those

fa-ulāika

هُمُ

[they]

humu

ٱلْمُضْعِفُونَ

(will) get manifold

l-muḍ'ʿifūna

٣٩

And whatever you give for interest [i.e., advantage] to increase within the wealth of people1 will not increase with Allāh. But what you give in zakāh,2 desiring the face [i.e., approval] of Allāh - those are the multipliers.3

— Saheeh International

ٱللَّهُ

Allah

al-lahu

ٱلَّذِى

(is) the One Who

alladhī

خَلَقَكُمْ

created you

khalaqakum

ثُمَّ

then

thumma

رَزَقَكُمْ

He provided (for) you

razaqakum

ثُمَّ

then

thumma

يُمِيتُكُمْ

He will cause you to die

yumītukum

ثُمَّ

then

thumma

يُحْيِيكُمْ ۖ

He will give you life

yuḥ'yīkum

هَلْ

Is (there)

hal

مِن

any

min

شُرَكَآئِكُم

(of) your partners

shurakāikum

مَّن

who

man

يَفْعَلُ

does

yafʿalu

مِن

of

min

ذَٰلِكُم

that

dhālikum

مِّن

any

min

شَىْءٍۢ ۚ

thing

shayin

سُبْحَـٰنَهُۥ

Glory be to Him

sub'ḥānahu

وَتَعَـٰلَىٰ

and exalted is He

wataʿālā

عَمَّا

above what

ʿammā

يُشْرِكُونَ

they associate

yush'rikūna

٤٠

Allāh is the one who created you, then provided for you, then will cause you to die, and then will give you life. Are there any of your "partners" who does anything of that? Exalted is He and high above what they associate with Him.

— Saheeh International

ظَهَرَ

Has appeared

ẓahara

ٱلْفَسَادُ

the corruption

l-fasādu

فِى

in

ٱلْبَرِّ

the land

l-bari

وَٱلْبَحْرِ

and the sea

wal-baḥri

بِمَا

for what

bimā

كَسَبَتْ

have earned

kasabat

أَيْدِى

(the) hands

aydī

ٱلنَّاسِ

(of) people

l-nāsi

لِيُذِيقَهُم

so that He may let them taste

liyudhīqahum

بَعْضَ

a part

baʿḍa

ٱلَّذِى

(of) that which

alladhī

عَمِلُوا۟

they have done

ʿamilū

لَعَلَّهُمْ

so that they may

laʿallahum

يَرْجِعُونَ

return

yarjiʿūna

٤١

Corruption has appeared throughout the land and sea by [reason of] what the hands of people have earned so He [i.e., Allāh] may let them taste part of [the consequence of] what they have done that perhaps they will return [to righteousness].

— Saheeh International

قُلْ

Say

qul

سِيرُوا۟

Travel

sīrū

فِى

in

ٱلْأَرْضِ

the earth

l-arḍi

فَٱنظُرُوا۟

and see

fa-unẓurū

كَيْفَ

how

kayfa

كَانَ

was

kāna

عَـٰقِبَةُ

(the) end

ʿāqibatu

ٱلَّذِينَ

(of) those who

alladhīna

مِن

(were) before

min

قَبْلُ ۚ

(were) before

qablu

كَانَ

Most of them were

kāna

أَكْثَرُهُم

Most of them were

aktharuhum

مُّشْرِكِينَ

polytheists

mush'rikīna

٤٢

Say, [O Muḥammad], "Travel through the land and observe how was the end of those before. Most of them were associators [of others with Allāh].

— Saheeh International

فَأَقِمْ

So set

fa-aqim

وَجْهَكَ

your face

wajhaka

لِلدِّينِ

to the religion

lilddīni

ٱلْقَيِّمِ

right

l-qayimi

مِن

before

min

قَبْلِ

before

qabli

أَن

[that]

an

يَأْتِىَ

comes

yatiya

يَوْمٌۭ

a Day

yawmun

لَّا

not

مَرَدَّ

(can be) averted

maradda

لَهُۥ

[it]

lahu

مِنَ

from

mina

ٱللَّهِ ۖ

Allah

l-lahi

يَوْمَئِذٍۢ

That Day

yawma-idhin

يَصَّدَّعُونَ

they will be divided

yaṣṣaddaʿūna

٤٣

So direct your face [i.e., self] toward the correct religion before a Day comes from Allāh of which there is no repelling. That Day, they will be divided.1

— Saheeh International

مَن

Whoever

man

كَفَرَ

disbelieves

kafara

فَعَلَيْهِ

then against him

faʿalayhi

كُفْرُهُۥ ۖ

(is) his disbelief

kuf'ruhu

وَمَنْ

And whoever

waman

عَمِلَ

does

ʿamila

صَـٰلِحًۭا

righteousness

ṣāliḥan

فَلِأَنفُسِهِمْ

then for themselves

fali-anfusihim

يَمْهَدُونَ

they are preparing

yamhadūna

٤٤

Whoever disbelieves - upon him is [the consequence of] his disbelief. And whoever does righteousness - they are for themselves preparing,

— Saheeh International

لِيَجْزِىَ

That He may reward

liyajziya

ٱلَّذِينَ

those who

alladhīna

ءَامَنُوا۟

believe

āmanū

وَعَمِلُوا۟

and do

waʿamilū

ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ

righteous deeds

l-ṣāliḥāti

مِن

(out) of

min

فَضْلِهِۦٓ ۚ

His Bounty

faḍlihi

إِنَّهُۥ

Indeed, He

innahu

لَا

(does) not

يُحِبُّ

like

yuḥibbu

ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ

the disbelievers

l-kāfirīna

٤٥

That He may reward those who have believed and done righteous deeds out of His bounty. Indeed, He does not like the disbelievers.

— Saheeh International

وَمِنْ

And among

wamin

ءَايَـٰتِهِۦٓ

His Signs

āyātihi

أَن

(is) that

an

يُرْسِلَ

He sends

yur'sila

ٱلرِّيَاحَ

the winds

l-riyāḥa

مُبَشِّرَٰتٍۢ

(as) bearers of glad tidings

mubashirātin

وَلِيُذِيقَكُم

and to let you taste

waliyudhīqakum

مِّن

of

min

رَّحْمَتِهِۦ

His Mercy

raḥmatihi

وَلِتَجْرِىَ

and that may sail

walitajriya

ٱلْفُلْكُ

the ships

l-ful'ku

بِأَمْرِهِۦ

at His Command

bi-amrihi

وَلِتَبْتَغُوا۟

and that you may seek

walitabtaghū

مِن

of

min

فَضْلِهِۦ

His Bounty

faḍlihi

وَلَعَلَّكُمْ

and that you may

walaʿallakum

تَشْكُرُونَ

be grateful

tashkurūna

٤٦

And of His signs is that He sends the winds as bringers of good tidings and to let you taste His mercy [i.e., rain] and so the ships may sail at His command and so you may seek of His bounty, and perhaps you will be grateful.

— Saheeh International

وَلَقَدْ

And verily

walaqad

أَرْسَلْنَا

We sent

arsalnā

مِن

before you

min

قَبْلِكَ

before you

qablika

رُسُلًا

Messengers

rusulan

إِلَىٰ

to

ilā

قَوْمِهِمْ

their people

qawmihim

فَجَآءُوهُم

and they came to them

fajāūhum

بِٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِ

with clear proofs

bil-bayināti

فَٱنتَقَمْنَا

then We took retribution

fa-intaqamnā

مِنَ

from

mina

ٱلَّذِينَ

those who

alladhīna

أَجْرَمُوا۟ ۖ

committed crimes

ajramū

وَكَانَ

And it was

wakāna

حَقًّا

incumbent

ḥaqqan

عَلَيْنَا

upon Us

ʿalaynā

نَصْرُ

(to) help

naṣru

ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

the believers

l-mu'minīna

٤٧

And We have already sent messengers before you to their peoples, and they came to them with clear evidences; then We took retribution from those who committed crimes, and incumbent upon Us was support1 of the believers.

— Saheeh International

ٱللَّهُ

Allah

al-lahu

ٱلَّذِى

(is) the One Who

alladhī

يُرْسِلُ

sends

yur'silu

ٱلرِّيَـٰحَ

the winds

l-riyāḥa

فَتُثِيرُ

so they raise

fatuthīru

سَحَابًۭا

(the) clouds

saḥāban

فَيَبْسُطُهُۥ

then He spreads them

fayabsuṭuhu

فِى

in

ٱلسَّمَآءِ

the sky

l-samāi

كَيْفَ

how

kayfa

يَشَآءُ

He wills

yashāu

وَيَجْعَلُهُۥ

and He makes them

wayajʿaluhu

كِسَفًۭا

fragments

kisafan

فَتَرَى

so you see

fatarā

ٱلْوَدْقَ

the rain

l-wadqa

يَخْرُجُ

coming forth

yakhruju

مِنْ

from

min

خِلَـٰلِهِۦ ۖ

their midst

khilālihi

فَإِذَآ

Then when

fa-idhā

أَصَابَ

He causes it to fall on

aṣāba

بِهِۦ

He causes it to fall on

bihi

مَن

whom

man

يَشَآءُ

He wills

yashāu

مِنْ

of

min

عِبَادِهِۦٓ

His slaves

ʿibādihi

إِذَا

behold

idhā

هُمْ

They

hum

يَسْتَبْشِرُونَ

rejoice

yastabshirūna

٤٨

It is Allāh who sends the winds, and they stir the clouds and spread them in the sky however He wills, and He makes them fragments so you see the rain emerge from within them. And when He causes it to fall upon whom He wills of His servants, immediately they rejoice

— Saheeh International

وَإِن

And certainly

wa-in

كَانُوا۟

they were

kānū

مِن

before

min

قَبْلِ

before

qabli

أَن

[that]

an

يُنَزَّلَ

it was sent down

yunazzala

عَلَيْهِم

upon them

ʿalayhim

مِّن

[before it]

min

قَبْلِهِۦ

[before it]

qablihi

لَمُبْلِسِينَ

surely in despair

lamub'lisīna

٤٩

Although they were, before it was sent down upon them - before that, in despair.

— Saheeh International

فَٱنظُرْ

So look

fa-unẓur

إِلَىٰٓ

at

ilā

ءَاثَـٰرِ

(the) effects

āthāri

رَحْمَتِ

(of the) Mercy

raḥmati

ٱللَّهِ

(of) Allah

l-lahi

كَيْفَ

how

kayfa

يُحْىِ

He gives life

yuḥ'yī

ٱلْأَرْضَ

(to) the earth

l-arḍa

بَعْدَ

after

baʿda

مَوْتِهَآ ۚ

its death

mawtihā

إِنَّ

Indeed

inna

ذَٰلِكَ

that

dhālika

لَمُحْىِ

surely He (will) give life

lamuḥ'yī

ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ ۖ

(to) the dead

l-mawtā

وَهُوَ

And He

wahuwa

عَلَىٰ

(is) on

ʿalā

كُلِّ

every

kulli

شَىْءٍۢ

thing

shayin

قَدِيرٌۭ

All-Powerful

qadīrun

٥٠

So observe the effects of the mercy of Allāh - how He gives life to the earth after its lifelessness. Indeed, that [same one] will give life to the dead, and He is over all things competent.

— Saheeh International

وَلَئِنْ

But if

wala-in

أَرْسَلْنَا

We sent

arsalnā

رِيحًۭا

a wind

rīḥan

فَرَأَوْهُ

and they see it

fara-awhu

مُصْفَرًّۭا

turn yellow

muṣ'farran

لَّظَلُّوا۟

certainly they continue

laẓallū

مِنۢ

after it

min

بَعْدِهِۦ

after it

baʿdihi

يَكْفُرُونَ

(in) disbelief

yakfurūna

٥١

But if We should send a [bad] wind and they saw [their crops] turned yellow, they would remain thereafter disbelievers.1

— Saheeh International

فَإِنَّكَ

So indeed, you

fa-innaka

لَا

(can) not

تُسْمِعُ

make the dead hear

tus'miʿu

ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ

make the dead hear

l-mawtā

وَلَا

and not

walā

تُسْمِعُ

make the deaf hear

tus'miʿu

ٱلصُّمَّ

make the deaf hear

l-ṣuma

ٱلدُّعَآءَ

the call

l-duʿāa

إِذَا

when

idhā

وَلَّوْا۟

they turn

wallaw

مُدْبِرِينَ

retreating

mud'birīna

٥٢

So indeed, you will not make the dead hear, nor will you make the deaf hear the call when they turn their backs, retreating.

— Saheeh International

وَمَآ

And not

wamā

أَنتَ

you

anta

بِهَـٰدِ

can guide

bihādi

ٱلْعُمْىِ

the blind

l-ʿum'yi

عَن

from

ʿan

ضَلَـٰلَتِهِمْ ۖ

their error

ḍalālatihim

إِن

Not

in

تُسْمِعُ

you can make hear

tus'miʿu

إِلَّا

except

illā

مَن

(those) who

man

يُؤْمِنُ

believe

yu'minu

بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا

in Our Verses

biāyātinā

فَهُم

so they

fahum

مُّسْلِمُونَ

surrender

mus'limūna

٥٣

And you cannot guide the blind away from their error. You will only make hear those who believe in Our verses so they are Muslims [in submission to Allāh].

— Saheeh International

۞ ٱللَّهُ

Allah

al-lahu

ٱلَّذِى

(is) the One Who

alladhī

خَلَقَكُم

created you

khalaqakum

مِّن

from

min

ضَعْفٍۢ

weakness

ḍaʿfin

ثُمَّ

then

thumma

جَعَلَ

made

jaʿala

ضَعْفًۭا

weakness

ḍaʿfan

وَشَيْبَةًۭ ۚ

and gray hair

washaybatan

يَخْلُقُ

He creates

yakhluqu

مَا

what

يَشَآءُ ۖ

He wills

yashāu

وَهُوَ

and He

wahuwa

ٱلْعَلِيمُ

(is) the All-Knower

l-ʿalīmu

ٱلْقَدِيرُ

the All-Powerful

l-qadīru

٥٤

Allāh is the one who created you from weakness, then made after weakness strength, then made after strength weakness and white hair. He creates what He wills, and He is the Knowing, the Competent.

— Saheeh International

وَيَوْمَ

And (the) Day

wayawma

تَقُومُ

will (be) established

taqūmu

ٱلسَّاعَةُ

the Hour

l-sāʿatu

يُقْسِمُ

will swear

yuq'simu

ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ

the criminals

l-muj'rimūna

مَا

not

لَبِثُوا۟

they remained

labithū

غَيْرَ

but

ghayra

سَاعَةٍۢ ۚ

an hour

sāʿatin

كَذَٰلِكَ

Thus

kadhālika

كَانُوا۟

they were

kānū

يُؤْفَكُونَ

deluded

yu'fakūna

٥٥

And the Day the Hour appears the criminals will swear they had remained but an hour. Thus they were deluded.

— Saheeh International

وَقَالَ

But will say

waqāla

ٱلَّذِينَ

those who

alladhīna

أُوتُوا۟

were given

ūtū

ٱلْعِلْمَ

the knowledge

l-ʿil'ma

وَٱلْإِيمَـٰنَ

and the faith

wal-īmāna

لَقَدْ

Verily

laqad

لَبِثْتُمْ

you remained

labith'tum

فِى

by

كِتَـٰبِ

(the) Decree

kitābi

ٱللَّهِ

(of) Allah

l-lahi

إِلَىٰ

until

ilā

يَوْمِ

(the) Day

yawmi

ٱلْبَعْثِ ۖ

(of) Resurrection

l-baʿthi

فَهَـٰذَا

And this

fahādhā

يَوْمُ

(is the) Day

yawmu

ٱلْبَعْثِ

(of) the Resurrection

l-baʿthi

وَلَـٰكِنَّكُمْ

but you

walākinnakum

كُنتُمْ

were

kuntum

لَا

not

تَعْلَمُونَ

knowing

taʿlamūna

٥٦

But those who were given knowledge and faith will say, "You remained the extent of Allāh's decree until the Day of Resurrection, and this is the Day of Resurrection, but you did not used to know."1

— Saheeh International

فَيَوْمَئِذٍۢ

So that Day

fayawma-idhin

لَّا

not

يَنفَعُ

will profit

yanfaʿu

ٱلَّذِينَ

those who

alladhīna

ظَلَمُوا۟

wronged

ẓalamū

مَعْذِرَتُهُمْ

their excuses

maʿdhiratuhum

وَلَا

and not

walā

هُمْ

they

hum

يُسْتَعْتَبُونَ

will be allowed to make amends

yus'taʿtabūna

٥٧

So that Day, their excuse will not benefit those who wronged, nor will they be asked to appease [Allāh].

— Saheeh International

وَلَقَدْ

And verily

walaqad

ضَرَبْنَا

We (have) set forth

ḍarabnā

لِلنَّاسِ

for mankind

lilnnāsi

فِى

in

هَـٰذَا

this

hādhā

ٱلْقُرْءَانِ

[the] Quran

l-qur'āni

مِن

of

min

كُلِّ

every

kulli

مَثَلٍۢ ۚ

example

mathalin

وَلَئِن

But if

wala-in

جِئْتَهُم

you bring them

ji'tahum

بِـَٔايَةٍۢ

a sign

biāyatin

لَّيَقُولَنَّ

surely will say

layaqūlanna

ٱلَّذِينَ

those who

alladhīna

كَفَرُوٓا۟

disbelieve

kafarū

إِنْ

Not

in

أَنتُمْ

you

antum

إِلَّا

(are) except

illā

مُبْطِلُونَ

falsifiers

mub'ṭilūna

٥٨

And We have certainly presented to the people in this Qur’ān from every [kind of] example. But, [O Muḥammad], if you should bring them a sign, the disbelievers will surely say, "You [believers] are but falsifiers."

— Saheeh International

كَذَٰلِكَ

Thus

kadhālika

يَطْبَعُ

Allah seals

yaṭbaʿu

ٱللَّهُ

Allah seals

l-lahu

عَلَىٰ

[on]

ʿalā

قُلُوبِ

(the) hearts

qulūbi

ٱلَّذِينَ

(of) those who

alladhīna

لَا

(do) not

يَعْلَمُونَ

know

yaʿlamūna

٥٩

Thus does Allāh seal the hearts of those who do not know.1

— Saheeh International

فَٱصْبِرْ

So be patient

fa-iṣ'bir

إِنَّ

Indeed

inna

وَعْدَ

(the) Promise

waʿda

ٱللَّهِ

(of) Allah

l-lahi

حَقٌّۭ ۖ

(is) true

ḥaqqun

وَلَا

And (let) not

walā

يَسْتَخِفَّنَّكَ

take you in light estimation

yastakhiffannaka

ٱلَّذِينَ

those who

alladhīna

لَا

(are) not

يُوقِنُونَ

certain in faith

yūqinūna

٦٠

So be patient. Indeed, the promise of Allāh is truth. And let them not disquiet you who are not certain [in faith].

— Saheeh International
