فَٱنقَلَبُوا۟ So they returned fa-inqalabū with (the) Favor biniʿ'matin of mina Allah l-lahi and Bounty wafaḍlin not lam touched them yamsashum any harm sūon And they followed wa-ittabaʿū (the) pleasure riḍ'wāna (of) Allah l-lahi and Allah wal-lahu (is) Possessor dhū (of) Bounty faḍlin great ʿaẓīmin
So they returned with favor from Allāh and bounty, no harm having touched them. And they pursued the pleasure of Allāh, and Allāh is the possessor of great bounty.
إِنَّمَا (It is) only innamā that dhālikumu the Shaitaan l-shayṭānu frightens (you) yukhawwifu (of) his allies awliyāahu So (do) not falā fear them takhāfūhum but fear Me wakhāfūni if in you are kuntum believers mu'minīna
That is only Satan who frightens [you] of his supporters. So fear them not, but fear Me, if you are [indeed] believers.
وَلَا And (let) not walā grieve you yaḥzunka those who alladhīna hasten yusāriʿūna in(to) fī [the] disbelief l-kuf'ri Indeed, they innahum never lan will harm yaḍurrū Allah l-laha (in) anything shayan intends yurīdu Allah l-lahu that not allā He will set yajʿala for them lahum any portion ḥaẓẓan in fī the Hereafter l-ākhirati And for them walahum (is) a punishment ʿadhābun great ʿaẓīmun
And do not be grieved, [O Muḥammad], by those who hasten into disbelief. Indeed, they will never harm Allāh at all. Allāh intends that He should give them no share in the Hereafter, and for them is a great punishment.
إِنَّ Indeed inna those who alladhīna (have) purchased ish'tarawū [the] disbelief l-kuf'ra with the faith bil-īmāni never lan will they harm yaḍurrū Allah l-laha (in) anything shayan and for them walahum (is) a punishment ʿadhābun painful alīmun
Indeed, those who purchase disbelief [in exchange] for faith - never will they harm Allāh at all, and for them is a painful punishment.
وَلَا And (let) not walā think yaḥsabanna those who alladhīna disbelieved kafarū that annamā We give respite num'lī to them lahum (is) good khayrun for themselves li-anfusihim Only innamā We give respite num'lī to them lahum so that they may increase liyazdādū (in) sins ith'man and for them walahum (is) a punishment ʿadhābun humiliating muhīnun
And let not those who disbelieve ever think that [because] We extend their time [of enjoyment] it is better for them. We only extend it for them so that they may increase in sin, and for them is a humiliating punishment.
مَّا Not mā is kāna Allah l-lahu to leave liyadhara the believers l-mu'minīna on ʿalā what mā you (are) antum in [it] ʿalayhi until ḥattā He separates yamīza the evil l-khabītha from mina the good l-ṭayibi And not wamā is kāna Allah l-lahu to inform you liyuṭ'liʿakum about ʿalā the unseen l-ghaybi [and] but walākinna Allah l-laha chooses yajtabī from min His Messengers rusulihi whom man He wills yashāu so believe faāminū in Allah bil-lahi and His Messengers warusulihi and if wa-in you believe tu'minū and fear (Allah) watattaqū then for you falakum (is a) reward ajrun great ʿaẓīmun
Allāh would not leave the believers in that [state] you are in [presently] until He separates the evil from the good. Nor would Allāh reveal to you the unseen. But [instead], Allāh chooses of His messengers whom He wills, so believe in Allāh and His messengers. And if you believe and fear Him, then for you is a great reward.
وَلَا And (let) not walā think yaḥsabanna those who alladhīna withhold yabkhalūna of what bimā (has) given them ātāhumu Allah l-lahu of min His Bounty faḍlihi (that) it huwa (is) good khayran for them lahum Nay bal it huwa (is) bad sharrun for them lahum Their necks will be encircled sayuṭawwaqūna (with) what mā they withheld bakhilū [with it] bihi (on the) Day yawma (of) [the] Resurrection l-qiyāmati And for Allah walillahi (is the) heritage mīrāthu (of) the heavens l-samāwāti and the earth wal-arḍi And Allah wal-lahu with what bimā you do taʿmalūna (is) All-Aware khabīrun
And let not those who [greedily] withhold what Allāh has given them of His bounty ever think that it is better for them. Rather, it is worse for them. Their necks will be encircled by what they withheld on the Day of Resurrection. And to Allāh belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth. And Allāh, of what you do, is [fully] Aware.
