۞ وَسَارِعُوٓا۟ And hasten wasāriʿū to ilā forgiveness maghfiratin from min your Lord rabbikum and a Garden wajannatin its width ʿarḍuhā (is like that of) the heavens l-samāwātu and the earth wal-arḍu prepared uʿiddat for the pious lil'muttaqīna
And hasten to forgiveness from your Lord and a garden [i.e., Paradise] as wide as the heavens and earth, prepared for the righteous
ٱلَّذِينَ Those who alladhīna spend yunfiqūna in fī [the] ease l-sarāi and (in) the hardship wal-ḍarāi and those who restrain wal-kāẓimīna the anger l-ghayẓa and those who pardon wal-ʿāfīna [from] ʿani the people l-nāsi and Allah wal-lahu loves yuḥibbu the good-doers l-muḥ'sinīna
Who spend [in the cause of Allāh] during ease and hardship and who restrain anger and who pardon the people - and Allāh loves the doers of good;
وَٱلَّذِينَ And those wa-alladhīna when idhā they did faʿalū immorality fāḥishatan or aw wronged ẓalamū themselves anfusahum they remember dhakarū Allah l-laha then ask forgiveness fa-is'taghfarū for their sins lidhunūbihim and who waman (can) forgive yaghfiru the sins l-dhunūba except illā Allah l-lahu And not walam they persist yuṣirrū on ʿalā what mā they did faʿalū while they wahum know yaʿlamūna
And those who, when they commit an immorality or wrong themselves [by transgression], remember Allāh and seek forgiveness for their sins - and who can forgive sins except Allāh? - and [who] do not persist in what they have done while they know.
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ Those ulāika their reward jazāuhum (is) forgiveness maghfiratun from min their Lord rabbihim and Gardens wajannātun flows tajrī from min underneath it taḥtihā the rivers l-anhāru abiding forever khālidīna in it fīhā And an excellent waniʿ'ma reward ajru (for) the (righteous) workers l-ʿāmilīna
Those - their reward is forgiveness from their Lord and gardens beneath which rivers flow [in Paradise], wherein they will abide eternally; and excellent is the reward of the [righteous] workers.
قَدْ Verily qad passed khalat from min before you qablikum situations sunanun then travel fasīrū in fī the earth l-arḍi and see fa-unẓurū how kayfa was kāna (the) end ʿāqibatu (of) the deniers l-mukadhibīna
Similar situations [as yours] have passed on before you, so proceed throughout the earth and observe how was the end of those who denied.
هَـٰذَا This hādhā (is) a declaration bayānun for the people lilnnāsi and guidance wahudan and admonition wamawʿiẓatun for the God-fearing lil'muttaqīna
This [Qur’ān] is a clear statement to [all] the people and a guidance and instruction for those conscious of Allāh.
وَلَا And (do) not walā weaken tahinū and (do) not walā grieve taḥzanū and you (will be) wa-antumu [the] superior l-aʿlawna if in you are kuntum believers mu'minīna
So do not weaken and do not grieve, and you will be superior if you are [true] believers.
إِن If in touched you yamsaskum a wound qarḥun so certainly faqad (has) touched massa the people l-qawma wound qarḥun like it mith'luhu And this watil'ka [the] days l-ayāmu We alternate them nudāwiluhā among bayna the people l-nāsi [and] so that makes evident waliyaʿlama Allah l-lahu those who alladhīna believe[d] āmanū and take wayattakhidha from you minkum martyrs shuhadāa And Allah wal-lahu (does) not lā love yuḥibbu the wrongdoers l-ẓālimīna
If a wound should touch you - there has already touched the [opposing] people a wound similar to it. And these days [of varying conditions] We alternate among the people so that Allāh may make evident those who believe and [may] take to Himself from among you martyrs - and Allāh does not like the wrongdoers -
