قريش
لِإِيلَـٰفِ For (the) familiarity liīlāfi (of the) Quraish qurayshin
For the accustomed security of the Quraysh1 -
إِۦلَـٰفِهِمْ Their familiarity īlāfihim (with the) journey riḥ'lata (of) winter l-shitāi and summer wal-ṣayfi
Their accustomed security [in] the caravan of winter and summer1 -
فَلْيَعْبُدُوا۟ So let them worship falyaʿbudū (the) Lord rabba (of) this hādhā House l-bayti
Let them worship the Lord of this House,1
ٱلَّذِىٓ The One Who alladhī feeds them aṭʿamahum [from] min (against) hunger jūʿin and gives them security waāmanahum from min fear khawfin
Who has fed them, [saving them] from hunger and made them safe, [saving them] from fear.
Al-Mā`ūn
The Small kindnesses
﷽
الماعون
أَرَءَيْتَ Have you seen ara-ayta the one who alladhī denies yukadhibu the Judgment bil-dīni
Have you seen the one who denies the Recompense?
فَذَٰلِكَ Then that fadhālika (is) the one who alladhī repulses yaduʿʿu the orphan l-yatīma
For that is the one who drives away the orphan
وَلَا And (does) not walā feel the urge yaḥuḍḍu to ʿalā feed ṭaʿāmi the poor l-mis'kīni
And does not encourage the feeding of the poor.
فَوَيْلٌۭ So woe fawaylun to those who pray lil'muṣallīna
So woe to those who pray
ٱلَّذِينَ Those who alladhīna [they] hum about ʿan their prayers ṣalātihim (are) neglectful sāhūna
[But] who are heedless of their prayer1 -
ٱلَّذِينَ Those who alladhīna [they] hum make show yurāūna
Those who make show [of their deeds]
وَيَمْنَعُونَ And they deny wayamnaʿūna [the] small kindnesses l-māʿūna
And withhold [simple] assistance.
Al-Kawthar
The Abundance

الكوثر
إِنَّآ Indeed, We innā We have given you aʿṭaynāka Al-Kauthar l-kawthara
Indeed, We have granted you, [O Muḥammad], al-Kawthar.
فَصَلِّ So pray faṣalli to your Lord lirabbika and sacrifice wa-in'ḥar
So pray to your Lord and offer sacrifice [to Him alone].
إِنَّ Indeed inna your enemy shāni-aka he (is) huwa the one cut off l-abtaru
Indeed, your enemy is the one cut off.1
