وَيُكَلِّمُ And he will speak wayukallimu (to) the people l-nāsa in fī the cradle l-mahdi and (in) maturity wakahlan and (he will be) of wamina the righteous l-ṣāliḥīna
He will speak to the people in the cradle and in maturity and will be of the righteous."
قَالَتْ She said qālat My Lord rabbi how annā is [it] yakūnu for me lī a boy waladun and (has) not walam touch(ed) me yamsasnī any man basharun He said qāla Thus kadhāliki Allah l-lahu creates yakhluqu what mā He wills yashāu When idhā He decrees qaḍā a matter amran then only fa-innamā He says yaqūlu to it lahu Be kun and it becomes fayakūnu
She said, "My Lord, how will I have a child when no man has touched me?" [The angel] said, "Such is Allāh; He creates what He wills. When He decrees a matter, He only says to it, 'Be,' and it is.
وَيُعَلِّمُهُ And He will teach him wayuʿallimuhu the Book l-kitāba and [the] wisdom wal-ḥik'mata and the Taurat wal-tawrāta and the Injeel wal-injīla
And He will teach him writing and wisdom1 and the Torah and the Gospel
وَرَسُولًا And (make him) a Messenger warasūlan to ilā (the) Children banī (of) Israel is'rāīla Indeed, I annī [surely] qad [I] (have) come (to) you ji'tukum with a sign biāyatin from min your Lord rabbikum that I annī [I] design akhluqu for you lakum from mina [the] clay l-ṭīni like the form kahayati (of) the bird l-ṭayri then I breath fa-anfukhu into it fīhi and it becomes fayakūnu a bird ṭayran by (the) permission bi-idh'ni (of) Allah l-lahi And I cure wa-ub'ri-u the blind l-akmaha and the leper wal-abraṣa and I give life wa-uḥ'yī (to) the dead l-mawtā by (the) permission bi-idh'ni (of) Allah l-lahi And I inform you wa-unabbi-ukum of what bimā you eat takulūna and what wamā you store taddakhirūna in fī your houses buyūtikum Indeed inna in fī that dhālika (is) surely a sign laāyatan for you lakum if in you are kuntum believers mu'minīna
And [make him] a messenger to the Children of Israel, [who will say], 'Indeed I have come to you with a sign from your Lord in that I design for you from clay [that which is] like the form of a bird, then I breathe into it and it becomes a bird by permission of Allāh. And I cure the blind [from birth] and the leper, and I give life to the dead - by permission of Allāh. And I inform you of what you eat and what you store in your houses. Indeed in that is a sign for you, if you are believers.
وَمُصَدِّقًۭا And confirming wamuṣaddiqan that which limā (was) bayna before me yadayya of mina the Taurat l-tawrāti and so that I make lawful wali-uḥilla for you lakum some baʿḍa (of) that which alladhī was forbidden ḥurrima to you ʿalaykum And I (have) come to you waji'tukum with a sign biāyatin from min your Lord rabbikum So fear fa-ittaqū Allah l-laha and obey me wa-aṭīʿūni
And [I have come] confirming what was before me of the Torah and to make lawful for you some of what was forbidden to you. And I have come to you with a sign from your Lord, so fear Allāh and obey me.
إِنَّ Indeed inna Allah l-laha (is) my Lord rabbī and your Lord warabbukum so worship Him fa-uʿ'budūhu This hādhā (is) the path ṣirāṭun straight mus'taqīmun
Indeed, Allāh is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. That is the straight path.'"
۞ فَلَمَّآ Then when falammā perceived aḥassa Isa ʿīsā from them min'humu [the] disbelief l-kuf'ra he said qāla Who man (will be) my helpers anṣārī to ilā Allah l-lahi Said qāla the disciples l-ḥawāriyūna We naḥnu (will be the) helpers anṣāru (of) Allah l-lahi we believe[d] āmannā in Allah bil-lahi and bear witness wa-ish'had that we bi-annā (are) Muslims mus'limūna
But when Jesus felt [persistence in] disbelief from them, he said, "Who are my supporters for [the cause of] Allāh?" The disciples said, "We are supporters for Allāh. We have believed in Allāh and testify that we are Muslims [submitting to Him].
