وَبَدَا And (will) appear wabadā to them lahum (the) evil sayyiātu (of) what mā they did ʿamilū and (will) envelop waḥāqa them bihim what mā they used kānū [at it] bihi (to) mock yastahziūna
And the evil consequences of what they did will appear to them, and they will be enveloped by what they used to ridicule.
وَقِيلَ And it will be said waqīla Today l-yawma We forget you nansākum as kamā you forgot nasītum (the) meeting liqāa (of) this Day of yours yawmikum (of) this Day of yours hādhā and your abode wamawākumu (is) the Fire l-nāru and not wamā for you lakum any min helpers nāṣirīna
And it will be said, "Today We will forget you as you forgot the meeting of this Day of yours, and your refuge is the Fire, and for you there are no helpers.
ذَٰلِكُم That dhālikum (is) because you bi-annakumu took ittakhadhtum (the) Verses āyāti (of) Allah l-lahi (in) ridicule huzuwan and deceived you wagharratkumu the life l-ḥayatu (of) the world l-dun'yā So this Day fal-yawma not lā they will be brought forth yukh'rajūna from it min'hā and not walā they hum will be asked to appease yus'taʿtabūna
That is because you took the verses of Allāh in ridicule, and worldly life deluded you." So that Day they will not be removed from it, nor will they be asked to appease [Allāh].
فَلِلَّهِ Then for Allah falillahi (is) all the praise l-ḥamdu (the) Lord rabbi (of) the heavens l-samāwāti and (the) Lord warabbi (of) the earth l-arḍi (the) lord rabbi (of) the worlds l-ʿālamīna
Then, to Allāh belongs [all] praise - Lord of the heavens and Lord of the earth, Lord of the worlds.
وَلَهُ And for Him walahu (is) the greatness l-kib'riyāu in fī the heavens l-samāwāti and the earth wal-arḍi and He wahuwa (is) the All-Mighty l-ʿazīzu the All-Wise l-ḥakīmu
And to Him belongs [all] grandeur within the heavens and the earth, and He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.

الأحقاف
تَنزِيلُ (The) revelation tanzīlu (of) the Book l-kitābi (is) from mina Allah l-lahi the All-Mighty l-ʿazīzi the All-Wise l-ḥakīmi
The revelation of the Book is from Allāh, the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
مَا Not mā We created khalaqnā the heavens l-samāwāti and the earth wal-arḍa and what wamā (is) between both of them baynahumā except illā in truth bil-ḥaqi and (for) a term wa-ajalin appointed musamman But those who wa-alladhīna disbelieve kafarū from what ʿammā they are warned undhirū (are) turning away muʿ'riḍūna
We did not create the heavens and earth and what is between them except in truth and [for] a specified term. But those who disbelieve, from that of which they are warned, are turning away.
قُلْ Say qul Do you see ara-aytum what mā you call tadʿūna besides min besides dūni Allah l-lahi Show me arūnī what mādhā they have created khalaqū of mina the earth l-arḍi or am for them lahum (is) any share shir'kun in fī the heavens l-samāwāti Bring me i'tūnī a book bikitābin from min before qabli this hādhā or aw a trace athāratin of min knowledge ʿil'min if in you are kuntum truthful ṣādiqīna
Say, [O Muḥammad], "Have you considered that which you invoke besides Allāh? Show me what they have created of the earth; or did they have partnership in [creation of] the heavens? Bring me a scripture [revealed] before this or a [remaining] trace of knowledge, if you should be truthful."
وَمَنْ And who waman (is) more astray aḍallu than (he) who mimman calls yadʿū besides min besides dūni Allah l-lahi who man will not respond lā will not respond yastajību to him lahu until ilā (the) Day yawmi (of) Resurrection l-qiyāmati and they wahum of ʿan their calls duʿāihim (are) unaware ghāfilūna
And who is more astray than he who invokes besides Allāh those who will not respond to him until the Day of Resurrection [i.e., never], and they, of their invocation, are unaware.
