وَنُفِخَ And (will) be blown wanufikha [in] fī the trumpet l-ṣūri then (will) fall dead faṣaʿiqa whoever man (is) in fī the heavens l-samāwāti and whoever waman (is) on fī the earth l-arḍi except illā whom man Allah wills shāa Allah wills l-lahu Then thumma (it will) be blown nufikha [in it] fīhi a second time ukh'rā and behold fa-idhā They hum (will be) standing qiyāmun waiting yanẓurūna
And the Horn will be blown, and whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth will fall dead except whom Allāh wills. Then it will be blown again, and at once they will be standing, looking on.
وَأَشْرَقَتِ And (will) shine wa-ashraqati the earth l-arḍu with (the) light binūri (of) its Lord rabbihā and (will) be placed wawuḍiʿa the Record l-kitābu and (will) be brought wajīa the Prophets bil-nabiyīna and the witnesses wal-shuhadāi and it (will) be judged waquḍiya between them baynahum in truth bil-ḥaqi and they wahum will not be wronged lā will not be wronged yuẓ'lamūna
And the earth will shine with the light of its Lord, and the record [of deeds] will be placed, and the prophets and the witnesses will be brought, and it will be judged between them in truth, and they will not be wronged.
وَوُفِّيَتْ And (will) be paid in full wawuffiyat every kullu soul nafsin what mā it did ʿamilat and He wahuwa (is the) Best-Knower aʿlamu of what bimā they do yafʿalūna
And every soul will be fully compensated [for] what it did; and He is most knowing1 of what they do.
وَسِيقَ And (will) be driven wasīqa those who alladhīna disbelieve kafarū to ilā Hell jahannama (in) groups zumaran until ḥattā when idhā they reach it jāūhā (will) be opened futiḥat its gates abwābuhā and (will) say waqāla to them lahum its keepers khazanatuhā Did not alam come to you yatikum Messengers rusulun from you minkum reciting yatlūna to you ʿalaykum (the) Verses āyāti (of) your Lord rabbikum and warning you wayundhirūnakum (of the) meeting liqāa (of) your Day yawmikum this hādhā They (will) say qālū Yes balā But walākin has been justified ḥaqqat (the) word kalimatu (of) punishment l-ʿadhābi against ʿalā the disbelievers l-kāfirīna
And those who disbelieved will be driven to Hell in groups until, when they reach it, its gates are opened and its keepers will say, "Did there not come to you messengers from yourselves, reciting to you the verses of your Lord and warning you of the meeting of this Day of yours?" They will say, "Yes, but the word [i.e., decree] of punishment has come into effect upon the disbelievers."
قِيلَ It will be said qīla Enter ud'khulū (the) gates abwāba (of) Hell jahannama (to) abide eternally khālidīna therein fīhā and wretched is fabi'sa (the) abode mathwā (of) the arrogant l-mutakabirīna
[To them] it will be said, "Enter the gates of Hell to abide eternally therein, and wretched is the residence of the arrogant."
وَسِيقَ And (will) be driven wasīqa those who alladhīna feared ittaqaw their Lord rabbahum to ilā Paradise l-janati (in) groups zumaran until ḥattā when idhā they reach it jāūhā and (will) be opened wafutiḥat its gates abwābuhā and (will) say waqāla to them lahum its keepers khazanatuhā Peace be salāmun upon you ʿalaykum you have done well ṭib'tum so enter it fa-ud'khulūhā (to) abide eternally khālidīna
But those who feared their Lord will be driven to Paradise in groups until, when they reach it while its gates have been opened and its keepers say, "Peace be upon you; you have become pure; so enter it to abide eternally therein," [they will enter].1
وَقَالُوا۟ And they will say waqālū All praise l-ḥamdu (be) to Allah lillahi Who alladhī has fulfilled for us ṣadaqanā His promise waʿdahu and has made us inherit wa-awrathanā the earth l-arḍa we may settle natabawwa-u [from] mina (in) Paradise l-janati wherever ḥaythu we wish nashāu So excellent faniʿ'ma (is the) reward ajru (of) the workers l-ʿāmilīna
And they will say, "Praise to Allāh, who has fulfilled for us His promise and made us inherit the earth [so] we may settle in Paradise wherever we will. And excellent is the reward of [righteous] workers."
