Do you not see [i.e., know] that Allāh causes the night to enter the day and causes the day to enter the night and has subjected the sun and the moon, each running [its course] for a specified term, and that Allāh, of whatever you do, is Aware?
ذَٰلِكَ That dhālika (is) because bi-anna Allah l-laha He huwa (is) the Truth l-ḥaqu and that wa-anna what mā they call yadʿūna besides Him min besides Him dūnihi (is) [the] falsehood l-bāṭilu and that wa-anna Allah l-laha He huwa (is) the Most High l-ʿaliyu the Most Great l-kabīru
That is because Allāh is the True Reality, and that what they call upon1 other than Him is falsehood, and because Allāh is the Most High, the Grand.

Do you not see that ships sail through the sea by the favor of Allāh that He may show you of His signs? Indeed in that are signs for everyone patient and grateful.

And when waves come over them like canopies, they supplicate Allāh, sincere to Him in religion [i.e., faith]. But when He delivers them to the land, there are [some] of them who are moderate [in faith]. And none rejects Our signs except everyone treacherous and ungrateful.
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا O yāayyuhā mankind l-nāsu Fear ittaqū your Lord rabbakum and fear wa-ikh'shaw a Day yawman not lā can avail yajzī a father wālidun [for] ʿan his son waladihi and not walā a son mawlūdun he huwa (can) avail jāzin [for] ʿan his father wālidihi anything shayan Indeed inna (the) Promise waʿda (of) Allah l-lahi (is) True ḥaqqun so let not deceive you falā so let not deceive you taghurrannakumu the life l-ḥayatu (of) the world l-dun'yā and let not deceive you walā and let not deceive you yaghurrannakum about Allah bil-lahi the deceiver l-gharūru
O mankind, fear your Lord and fear a Day when no father will avail his son, nor will a son avail his father at all. Indeed, the promise of Allāh is truth, so let not the worldly life delude you and be not deceived about Allāh by the Deceiver [i.e., Satan].
إِنَّ Indeed inna Allah l-laha with Him ʿindahu (is the) knowledge ʿil'mu (of) the Hour l-sāʿati and He sends down wayunazzilu the rain l-ghaytha and knows wayaʿlamu what mā (is) in fī the wombs l-arḥāmi And not wamā knows tadrī any soul nafsun what mādhā it will earn taksibu tomorrow ghadan and not wamā knows tadrī any soul nafsun in what bi-ayyi land arḍin it will die tamūtu Indeed inna Allah l-laha (is) All-Knower ʿalīmun All-Aware khabīrun
Indeed, Allāh [alone] has knowledge of the Hour and sends down the rain and knows what is in the wombs.1 And no soul perceives what it will earn tomorrow, and no soul perceives in what land it will die. Indeed, Allāh is Knowing and Aware.
