وَكَذَٰلِكَ And thus wakadhālika We sent it down anzalnāhu (as) clear Verses āyātin (as) clear Verses bayyinātin and that wa-anna Allah l-laha guides yahdī whom man He intends yurīdu
And thus have We sent it [i.e., the Qur’ān] down as verses of clear evidence and because Allāh guides whom He intends.
إِنَّ Indeed inna those who alladhīna have believed āmanū and those who wa-alladhīna were Jews hādū and the Sabians wal-ṣābiīna and the Christians wal-naṣārā and the Magians wal-majūsa and those who wa-alladhīna (are) polytheists ashrakū indeed inna Allah l-laha will judge yafṣilu between them baynahum (on) the Day yawma (of) the Resurrection l-qiyāmati Indeed inna Allah l-laha over ʿalā every kulli thing shayin (is) a Witness shahīdun
Indeed, those who have believed and those who were Jews and the Sabeans and the Christians and the Magians and those who associated with Allāh - Allāh will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection. Indeed Allāh is, over all things, Witness.1
أَلَمْ Do not alam you see tara that anna (to) Allah l-laha prostrates yasjudu to Him lahu whoever man (is) in fī the heavens l-samāwāti and whoever waman (is) in fī the earth l-arḍi and the sun wal-shamsu and the moon wal-qamaru and the stars wal-nujūmu and the mountains wal-jibālu and the trees wal-shajaru and the moving creatures wal-dawābu and many wakathīrun of mina the people l-nāsi But many wakathīrun (is) justly due ḥaqqa on him ʿalayhi the punishment l-ʿadhābu And whoever waman Allah humiliates yuhini Allah humiliates l-lahu then not famā for him lahu any min bestower of honor muk'rimin Indeed inna Allah l-laha does yafʿalu what mā He wills yashāu
Do you not see [i.e., know] that to Allāh prostrates whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth and the sun, the moon, the stars, the mountains, the trees, the moving creatures and many of the people? But upon many the punishment has been justified.1 And he whom Allāh humiliates - for him there is no bestower of honor. Indeed, Allāh does what He wills.
۞ هَـٰذَانِ These two hādhāni opponents khaṣmāni dispute ikh'taṣamū concerning fī their Lord rabbihim But those who fa-alladhīna disbelieved kafarū will be cut out quṭṭiʿat for them lahum garments thiyābun of min fire nārin Will be poured yuṣabbu over min over fawqi their heads ruūsihimu [the] scalding water l-ḥamīmu
These1 are two adversaries who have disputed over their Lord. But those who disbelieved will have cut out for them garments of fire. Poured upon their heads will be scalding water
يُصْهَرُ Will be melted yuṣ'haru with it bihi what mā (is) in fī their bellies buṭūnihim and the skins wal-julūdu
By which is melted that within their bellies and [their] skins.
وَلَهُم And for them walahum (are) hooked rods maqāmiʿu of min iron ḥadīdin
And for [striking] them are maces of iron.
كُلَّمَآ Every time kullamā they want arādū to an come out yakhrujū from it min'hā from min anguish ghammin they will be returned uʿīdū therein fīhā Taste wadhūqū (the) punishment ʿadhāba (of) the Burning Fire l-ḥarīqi
Every time they want to get out of it [i.e., Hellfire] from anguish, they will be returned to it, and [it will be said], "Taste the punishment of the Burning Fire!"
إِنَّ Indeed inna Allah l-laha will admit yud'khilu those who alladhīna believe āmanū and do waʿamilū the righteous deeds l-ṣāliḥāti (to) Gardens jannātin flow tajrī from min underneath it taḥtihā the rivers l-anhāru They will be adorned yuḥallawna therein fīhā with min bracelets asāwira of min gold dhahabin and pearl walu'lu-an and their garments walibāsuhum therein fīhā (will be of) silk ḥarīrun
Indeed, Allāh will admit those who believe and do righteous deeds to gardens beneath which rivers flow. They will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold and pearl, and their garments therein will be silk.
