وَإِن And if wa-in Allah touches you yamsaska Allah touches you l-lahu with adversity biḍurrin (there is) no falā remover kāshifa of it lahu except illā Him huwa and if wa-in He intends for you yurid'ka any good bikhayrin then (there is) no falā repeller rādda (of) His Bounty lifaḍlihi He causes it to reach yuṣību He causes it to reach bihi whom man He wills yashāu of min His slaves ʿibādihi And He wahuwa (is) the Oft-Forgiving l-ghafūru the Most Merciful l-raḥīmu
And if Allāh should touch you with adversity, there is no remover of it except Him; and if He intends for you good, then there is no repeller of His bounty. He causes it to reach whom He wills of His servants. And He is the Forgiving, the Merciful.
قُلْ Say qul O mankind yāayyuhā O mankind l-nāsu Verily qad has come to you jāakumu the truth l-ḥaqu from min your Lord rabbikum So whoever famani (is) guided ih'tadā then only fa-innamā (he is) guided yahtadī for his soul linafsihi and whoever waman goes astray ḍalla then only fa-innamā he strays yaḍillu against it ʿalayhā And I am not wamā And I am not anā over you ʿalaykum a guardian biwakīlin
Say, "O mankind, the truth has come to you from your Lord, so whoever is guided is only guided for [the benefit of] his soul, and whoever goes astray only goes astray [in violation] against it. And I am not over you a manager."
وَٱتَّبِعْ And follow wa-ittabiʿ what mā is revealed yūḥā to you ilayka and be patient wa-iṣ'bir until ḥattā Allah gives judgment yaḥkuma Allah gives judgment l-lahu And He wahuwa (is) the Best khayru (of) the Judges l-ḥākimīna
And follow what is revealed to you, [O Muḥammad], and be patient until Allāh will judge. And He is the best of judges.

أَلَّا That "Not allā you worship taʿbudū but illā Allah l-laha Indeed, I am innanī to you lakum from Him min'hu a warner nadhīrun and a bearer of glad tidings wabashīrun
[Through a messenger, saying], "Do not worship except Allāh. Indeed, I am to you from Him a warner and a bringer of good tidings,"
وَأَنِ And that wa-ani Seek forgiveness is'taghfirū (of) your Lord rabbakum and thumma turn in repentance tūbū to Him ilayhi He will let you yumattiʿ'kum enjoy matāʿan a good ḥasanan for ilā a term ajalin appointed musamman And give wayu'ti (to) every kulla owner dhī (of) grace faḍlin His Grace faḍlahu But if wa-in you turn away tawallaw then indeed, I fa-innī fear akhāfu for you ʿalaykum (the) punishment ʿadhāba (of) a Great Day yawmin (of) a Great Day kabīrin
And [saying], "Seek forgiveness of your Lord and repent to Him, [and] He will let you enjoy a good provision for a specified term and give every doer of favor his favor [i.e., reward]. But if you turn away, then indeed, I fear for you the punishment of a great Day.
إِلَى To ilā Allah l-lahi (is) your return marjiʿukum and He wahuwa (is) on ʿalā every kulli thing shayin All-Powerful qadīrun
To Allāh is your return, and He is over all things competent."
أَلَآ No doubt alā They innahum fold up yathnūna their breasts ṣudūrahum that they may hide liyastakhfū from Him min'hu Surely alā when ḥīna they cover (themselves) yastaghshūna (with) their garments thiyābahum He knows yaʿlamu what mā they conceal yusirrūna and what wamā they reveal yuʿ'linūna Indeed, He innahu (is) All-Knower ʿalīmun of what bidhāti (is in) the breasts l-ṣudūri
Unquestionably, they [i.e., the disbelievers] turn away their breasts to hide themselves from him. Unquestionably, [even] when they cover themselves in their clothing, He [i.e., Allāh] knows what they conceal and what they declare. Indeed, He is Knowing of that within the breasts.
