قَالَ Said qāla Isa ʿīsā son ub'nu (of) Maryam maryama O Allah l-lahuma our Lord rabbanā send down anzil to us ʿalaynā a table spread māidatan from mina the heaven l-samāi to be takūnu for us lanā a festival ʿīdan for first of us li-awwalinā and last of us waākhirinā and a sign waāyatan from You minka And provide us wa-ur'zuq'nā and You wa-anta (are) best khayru (of) the providers l-rāziqīna
Said Jesus, the son of Mary, "O Allāh, our Lord, send down to us a table [spread with food] from the heaven to be for us a festival for the first of us and the last of us and a sign from You. And provide for us, and You are the best of providers."
قَالَ Said qāla Allah l-lahu Indeed I innī (will) send it down munazziluhā to you ʿalaykum then whoever faman disbelieves yakfur after (that) baʿdu among you minkum then indeed I fa-innī [I] will punish him uʿadhibuhu (with) a punishment ʿadhāban not lā I have punished uʿadhibuhu anyone aḥadan among mina the worlds l-ʿālamīna
Allāh said, "Indeed, I will send it down to you, but whoever disbelieves afterwards from among you - then indeed will I punish him with a punishment by which I have not punished anyone among the worlds."
وَإِذْ And when wa-idh said qāla Allah l-lahu O Isa yāʿīsā son ib'na (of) Maryam maryama Did you a-anta say qul'ta to the people lilnnāsi Take me ittakhidhūnī and my mother wa-ummiya (as) two gods ilāhayni from min besides dūni Allah l-lahi He said qāla Glory be to You sub'ḥānaka Not mā was yakūnu for me lī that an I say aqūla what mā not laysa I lī (had) right biḥaqqin If in I had kuntu said it qul'tuhu then surely faqad You would have known it ʿalim'tahu You know taʿlamu what mā (is) in fī myself nafsī and not walā I know aʿlamu what mā (is) in fī Yourself nafsika Indeed, You innaka You anta (are) All-Knower ʿallāmu (of) the unseen l-ghuyūbi
And [beware the Day] when Allāh will say, "O Jesus, Son of Mary, did you say to the people, 'Take me and my mother as deities besides Allāh?'" He will say, "Exalted are You! It was not for me to say that to which I have no right. If I had said it, You would have known it. You know what is within myself, and I do not know what is within Yourself. Indeed, it is You who is Knower of the unseen.
مَا Not mā I said qul'tu to them lahum except illā what mā You commanded me amartanī [with it] bihi that ani You worship uʿ'budū Allah l-laha my Lord rabbī and your Lord warabbakum And I was wakuntu over them ʿalayhim a witness shahīdan that mā as long as I dum'tu (was) among them fīhim then when falammā You raised me tawaffaytanī You were kunta [You] anta the Watcher l-raqība over them ʿalayhim and You wa-anta (are) on ʿalā every kulli thing shayin a Witness shahīdun
I said not to them except what You commanded me - to worship Allāh, my Lord and your Lord. And I was a witness over them as long as I was among them; but when You took me up, You were the Observer over them, and You are, over all things, Witness.
إِن If in You punish them tuʿadhib'hum then indeed they fa-innahum (are) Your slaves ʿibāduka and if wa-in You forgive taghfir [for] them lahum then indeed You fa-innaka You anta (are) the All-Mighty l-ʿazīzu the All-Wise l-ḥakīmu
If You should punish them - indeed they are Your servants; but if You forgive them - indeed it is You who is the Exalted in Might, the Wise."
قَالَ Will say qāla Allah l-lahu This hādhā Day yawmu will profit yanfaʿu the truthful l-ṣādiqīna their truthfulness ṣid'quhum For them lahum (are) Gardens jannātun flows tajrī from min underneath it taḥtihā the rivers l-anhāru will abide khālidīna in it fīhā forever abadan is pleased raḍiya Allah l-lahu with them ʿanhum and they are pleased waraḍū with Him ʿanhu That dhālika (is) the success l-fawzu (the) great l-ʿaẓīmu
Allāh will say, "This is the Day when the truthful will benefit from their truthfulness." For them are gardens [in Paradise] beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever, Allāh being pleased with them, and they with Him. That is the great attainment.
لِلَّهِ To Allah (belongs) lillahi the dominion mul'ku (of) the heavens l-samāwāti and the earth wal-arḍi and what wamā (is) in them fīhinna And He wahuwa (is) on ʿalā every kulli thing shayin All-Powerful qadīrun
To Allāh belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is within them. And He is over all things competent.
