وَٱلَّذِينَ

But those who

wa-alladhīna

كَفَرُوا۟

disbelieved

kafarū

وَكَذَّبُوا۟

and denied

wakadhabū

بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَآ

[in] Our Verses

biāyātinā

أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ

those

ulāika

أَصْحَـٰبُ

(are the) companions

aṣḥābu

ٱلنَّارِ

(of) the Fire

l-nāri

خَـٰلِدِينَ

abiding forever

khālidīna

فِيهَا ۖ

therein

fīhā

وَبِئْسَ

And wretched is

wabi'sa

ٱلْمَصِيرُ

the destination

l-maṣīru

١٠

But the ones who disbelieved and denied Our verses - those are the companions of the Fire, abiding eternally therein; and wretched is the destination.

— Saheeh International

مَآ

Not

أَصَابَ

strikes

aṣāba

مِن

any

min

مُّصِيبَةٍ

disaster

muṣībatin

إِلَّا

except

illā

بِإِذْنِ

by (the) permission

bi-idh'ni

ٱللَّهِ ۗ

(of) Allah

l-lahi

وَمَن

And whoever

waman

يُؤْمِنۢ

believes

yu'min

بِٱللَّهِ

in Allah

bil-lahi

يَهْدِ

He guides

yahdi

قَلْبَهُۥ ۚ

his heart

qalbahu

وَٱللَّهُ

And Allah

wal-lahu

بِكُلِّ

of every

bikulli

شَىْءٍ

thing

shayin

عَلِيمٌۭ

(is) All-Knowing

ʿalīmun

١١

No disaster strikes except by permission of Allāh. And whoever believes in Allāh - He will guide his heart. And Allāh is Knowing of all things.

— Saheeh International

وَأَطِيعُوا۟

So obey

wa-aṭīʿū

ٱللَّهَ

Allah

l-laha

وَأَطِيعُوا۟

and obey

wa-aṭīʿū

ٱلرَّسُولَ ۚ

the Messenger

l-rasūla

فَإِن

but if

fa-in

تَوَلَّيْتُمْ

you turn away

tawallaytum

فَإِنَّمَا

then only

fa-innamā

عَلَىٰ

upon

ʿalā

رَسُولِنَا

Our Messenger

rasūlinā

ٱلْبَلَـٰغُ

(is) the conveyance

l-balāghu

ٱلْمُبِينُ

clear

l-mubīnu

١٢

And obey Allāh and obey the Messenger; but if you turn away - then upon Our Messenger is only [the duty of] clear notification.

— Saheeh International

ٱللَّهُ

Allah

al-lahu

لَآ

(there is) no

إِلَـٰهَ

god

ilāha

إِلَّا

except

illā

هُوَ ۚ

Him

huwa

وَعَلَى

And upon

waʿalā

ٱللَّهِ

Allah

l-lahi

فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ

let put (their) trust

falyatawakkali

ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ

the believers

l-mu'minūna

١٣

Allāh - there is no deity except Him. And upon Allāh let the believers rely.

— Saheeh International

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا

O

yāayyuhā

ٱلَّذِينَ

(you) who

alladhīna

ءَامَنُوٓا۟

believe

āmanū

إِنَّ

Indeed

inna

مِنْ

from

min

أَزْوَٰجِكُمْ

your spouses

azwājikum

وَأَوْلَـٰدِكُمْ

and your children

wa-awlādikum

عَدُوًّۭا

(are) enemies

ʿaduwwan

لَّكُمْ

to you

lakum

فَٱحْذَرُوهُمْ ۚ

so beware of them

fa-iḥ'dharūhum

وَإِن

But if

wa-in

تَعْفُوا۟

you pardon

taʿfū

وَتَصْفَحُوا۟

and overlook

wataṣfaḥū

وَتَغْفِرُوا۟

and forgive

wataghfirū

فَإِنَّ

then indeed

fa-inna

ٱللَّهَ

Allah

l-laha

غَفُورٌۭ

(is) Oft-Forgiving

ghafūrun

رَّحِيمٌ

Most Merciful

raḥīmun

١٤

O you who have believed, indeed, among your spouses and your children are enemies to you, so beware of them. But if you pardon and overlook and forgive - then indeed, Allāh is Forgiving and Merciful.

— Saheeh International

إِنَّمَآ

Only

innamā

أَمْوَٰلُكُمْ

your wealth

amwālukum

وَأَوْلَـٰدُكُمْ

and your children

wa-awlādukum

فِتْنَةٌۭ ۚ

(are) a trial

fit'natun

وَٱللَّهُ

and Allah

wal-lahu

عِندَهُۥٓ

with Him

ʿindahu

أَجْرٌ

(is) a reward

ajrun

عَظِيمٌۭ

great

ʿaẓīmun

١٥

Your wealth and your children are but a trial, and Allāh has with Him a great reward.

— Saheeh International

فَٱتَّقُوا۟

So fear

fa-ittaqū

ٱللَّهَ

Allah

l-laha

مَا

what

ٱسْتَطَعْتُمْ

you are able

is'taṭaʿtum

وَٱسْمَعُوا۟

and listen

wa-is'maʿū

وَأَطِيعُوا۟

and obey

wa-aṭīʿū

وَأَنفِقُوا۟

and spend

wa-anfiqū

خَيْرًۭا

(it is) better

khayran

لِّأَنفُسِكُمْ ۗ

for yourselves

li-anfusikum

وَمَن

And whoever

waman

يُوقَ

is saved

yūqa

شُحَّ

(from the) greediness

shuḥḥa

نَفْسِهِۦ

(of) his soul

nafsihi

فَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ

then those

fa-ulāika

هُمُ

[they]

humu

ٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ

(are) the successful ones

l-muf'liḥūna

١٦

So fear Allāh as much as you are able and listen and obey and spend [in the way of Allāh]; it is better for your selves. And whoever is protected from the stinginess of his soul - it is those who will be the successful.

— Saheeh International

إِن

If

in

تُقْرِضُوا۟

you loan

tuq'riḍū

ٱللَّهَ

(to) Allah

l-laha

قَرْضًا

a loan

qarḍan

حَسَنًۭا

goodly

ḥasanan

يُضَـٰعِفْهُ

He will multiply it

yuḍāʿif'hu

لَكُمْ

for you

lakum

وَيَغْفِرْ

and will forgive

wayaghfir

لَكُمْ ۚ

you

lakum

وَٱللَّهُ

And Allah

wal-lahu

شَكُورٌ

(is) Most Appreciative

shakūrun

حَلِيمٌ

Most Forbearing

ḥalīmun

١٧

If you loan Allāh a goodly loan, He will multiply it for you and forgive you. And Allāh is [most] Appreciative1 and Forbearing,2

— Saheeh International

عَـٰلِمُ

(The) Knower

ʿālimu

ٱلْغَيْبِ

(of) the unseen

l-ghaybi

وَٱلشَّهَـٰدَةِ

and the witnessed

wal-shahādati

ٱلْعَزِيزُ

the All-Mighty

l-ʿazīzu

ٱلْحَكِيمُ

the All-Wise

l-ḥakīmu

١٨

Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, the Exalted in Might, the Wise.

— Saheeh International
