وَإِذْ And when wa-idh made fair-seeming zayyana to them lahumu the Shaitaan l-shayṭānu their deeds aʿmālahum and he said waqāla No (one) lā (can) overcome ghāliba [to] you lakumu today l-yawma from mina the people l-nāsi and indeed, I am wa-innī a neighbor jārun for you lakum But when falammā came in sight tarāati the two forces l-fi-atāni he turned away nakaṣa on ʿalā his heels ʿaqibayhi and said waqāla Indeed, I am innī free barīon of you minkum Indeed, I innī see arā what mā not lā you see tarawna indeed, I innī [I] fear akhāfu Allah l-laha And Allah wal-lahu (is) severe shadīdu (in) the penalty l-ʿiqābi
And [remember] when Satan made their deeds pleasing to them and said, "No one can overcome you today from among the people, and indeed, I am your protector." And Allāh is severe in penalty."
