وَأَنَّ And that wa-anna the masjids l-masājida (are) for Allah lillahi so (do) not falā call tadʿū with maʿa Allah l-lahi anyone aḥadan
And [He revealed] that the masjids are for Allāh, so do not invoke with Allāh anyone.
وَأَنَّهُۥ And that wa-annahu when lammā stood up qāma (the) slave ʿabdu (of) Allah l-lahi calling (upon) Him yadʿūhu they almost kādū became yakūnūna around him ʿalayhi a compacted mass libadan
And that when the Servant [i.e., Prophet] of Allāh stood up supplicating Him, they almost became about him a compacted mass."
قُلْ Say qul Only innamā I call upon adʿū my Lord rabbī and not walā I associate ush'riku with Him bihi anyone aḥadan
Say, [O Muḥammad], "I only invoke my Lord and do not associate with Him anyone."
قُلْ Say qul Indeed, I innī (do) not lā possess amliku for you lakum any harm ḍarran and not walā right path rashadan
Say, "Indeed, I do not possess for you [the power of] harm or right direction."
قُلْ Say qul Indeed I innī never lan can protect me yujīranī from mina Allah l-lahi anyone aḥadun and never walan can I find ajida from min besides Him dūnihi any refuge mul'taḥadan
Say, "Indeed, there will never protect me from Allāh anyone [if I should disobey], nor will I find in other than Him a refuge.
إِلَّا But illā (the) notification balāghan from mina Allah l-lahi and His Messages warisālātihi And whoever waman disobeys yaʿṣi Allah l-laha and His Messenger warasūlahu then indeed fa-inna for him lahu (is the) Fire nāra (of) Hell jahannama (they will) abide khālidīna therein fīhā forever abadan
But [I have for you] only notification from Allāh, and His messages." And whoever disobeys Allāh and His Messenger - then indeed, for him is the fire of Hell; they will abide therein forever.
حَتَّىٰٓ Until ḥattā when idhā they see ra-aw what mā they are promised yūʿadūna then they will know fasayaʿlamūna who man (is) weaker aḍʿafu (in) helpers nāṣiran and fewer wa-aqallu (in) number ʿadadan
[The disbelievers continue] until, when they see that which they are promised, then they will know who is weaker in helpers and less in number.
