وَإِذْ And when wa-idh said qāla Isa ʿīsā son ub'nu (of) Maryam maryama O Children yābanī (of) Israel is'rāīla Indeed, I am innī (the) Messenger rasūlu (of) Allah l-lahi to you ilaykum confirming muṣaddiqan that which limā (was) between bayna my hands yadayya of mina the Taurat l-tawrāti and bringing glad tidings wamubashiran (of) a Messenger birasūlin to come yatī from min after me baʿdī whose name (will be) us'muhu Ahmad aḥmadu But when falammā he came to them jāahum with clear proofs bil-bayināti they said qālū This hādhā (is) a magic siḥ'run clear mubīnun
And [mention] when Jesus, the son of Mary, said, "O Children of Israel, indeed I am the messenger of Allāh to you confirming what came before me of the Torah and bringing good tidings of a messenger to come after me, whose name is Aḥmad."1 But when he came to them with clear evidences, they said, "This is obvious magic."2
