مَّا Not mā (is) the Messiah l-masīḥu son ub'nu (of) Maryam maryama but illā a Messenger rasūlun certainly qad had passed khalat from min before him qablihi the Messengers l-rusulu And his mother wa-ummuhu (was) truthful ṣiddīqatun They both used to kānā eat yakulāni [the] food l-ṭaʿāma See unẓur how kayfa We make clear nubayyinu to them lahumu the Signs l-āyāti then thumma see unẓur how annā they are deluded yu'fakūna
The Messiah, son of Mary, was not but a messenger; [other] messengers have passed on before him. And his mother was a supporter of truth. They both used to eat food.1 Look how We make clear to them the signs; then look how they are deluded.
