وَلِلَّهِ And for Allah walillahi (is) whatever mā (is) in fī the heavens l-samāwāti and whatever wamā (is) in fī the earth l-arḍi that He may recompense liyajziya those who alladhīna do evil asāū with what bimā they have done ʿamilū and recompense wayajziya those who alladhīna do good aḥsanū with the best bil-ḥus'nā
And to Allāh belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth - that He may recompense those who do evil with [the penalty of] what they have done and recompense those who do good with the best [reward] -
ٱلَّذِينَ Those who alladhīna avoid yajtanibūna great kabāira sins l-ith'mi and the immoralities wal-fawāḥisha except illā the small faults l-lamama indeed inna your Lord rabbaka (is) vast wāsiʿu (in) forgiveness l-maghfirati He huwa (is) most knowing about you aʿlamu (is) most knowing about you bikum when idh He produced you ansha-akum from mina the earth l-arḍi and when wa-idh you (were) antum fetuses ajinnatun in fī (the) wombs buṭūni (of) your mothers ummahātikum So (do) not falā ascribe purity tuzakkū (to) yourselves anfusakum He huwa knows best aʿlamu (he) who bimani fears ittaqā
Those who avoid the major sins and immoralities, only [committing] slight ones. Indeed, your Lord is vast in forgiveness. He was most knowing of you when He produced you from the earth and when you were fetuses in the wombs of your mothers. So do not claim yourselves to be pure; He is most knowing of who fears Him.
