وَٱلَّذِينَ And those who wa-alladhīna believed āmanū and followed them wa-ittabaʿathum their offspring dhurriyyatuhum in faith biīmānin We will join alḥaqnā with them bihim their offspring dhurriyyatahum and not wamā We will deprive them alatnāhum of min their deeds ʿamalihim (in) any min thing shayin Every kullu person im'ri-in for what bimā he earned kasaba (is) pledged rahīnun
And those who believed and whose descendants followed them in faith - We will join with them their descendants, and We will not deprive them of anything of their deeds. Every person, for what he earned, is retained.
وَأَمْدَدْنَـٰهُم And We will provide them wa-amdadnāhum with fruit bifākihatin and meat walaḥmin from what mimmā they desire yashtahūna
And We will provide them with fruit and meat from whatever they desire.
يَتَنَـٰزَعُونَ They will pass to one another yatanāzaʿūna therein fīhā a cup kasan no lā ill speech laghwun therein fīhā and no walā sin tathīmun
They will exchange with one another a cup [of wine] wherein [results] no ill speech or commission of sin.
۞ وَيَطُوفُ And will circulate wayaṭūfu among them ʿalayhim boys ghil'mānun for them lahum as if they (were) ka-annahum pearls lu'lu-on well-protected maknūnun
There will circulate among them [servant] boys [especially] for them, as if they were pearls well-protected.
وَأَقْبَلَ And will approach wa-aqbala some of them baʿḍuhum to ʿalā others baʿḍin inquiring yatasāalūna
And they will approach one another, inquiring of each other.
قَالُوٓا۟ They will say qālū Indeed, we innā [we] were kunnā before qablu among fī our families ahlinā fearful mush'fiqīna
They will say, "Indeed, we were previously among our people fearful [of displeasing Allāh].
فَمَنَّ But Allah conferred favor famanna But Allah conferred favor l-lahu upon us ʿalaynā and protected us wawaqānā (from the) punishment ʿadhāba (of) the Scorching Fire l-samūmi
So Allāh conferred favor upon us and protected us from the punishment of the Scorching Fire.
إِنَّا Indeed, we innā [we] used to kunnā before min before qablu call Him nadʿūhu Indeed, He innahu [He] huwa (is) the Most Kind l-baru the Most Merciful l-raḥīmu
Indeed, we used to supplicate Him before. Indeed, it is He who is the Beneficent, the Merciful."
