أَفَلَمْ Then do not afalam they look yanẓurū at ilā the sky l-samāi above them fawqahum how kayfa We structured it banaynāhā and adorned it wazayyannāhā and not wamā for it lahā any min rifts furūjin
Have they not looked at the heaven above them - how We structured it and adorned it and [how] it has no rifts?
وَٱلْأَرْضَ And the earth wal-arḍa We have spread it out madadnāhā and cast wa-alqaynā therein fīhā firmly set mountains rawāsiya and We made to grow wa-anbatnā therein fīhā of min every kulli kind zawjin beautiful bahījin
And the earth - We spread it out and cast therein firmly set mountains and made grow therein [something] of every beautiful kind,
تَبْصِرَةًۭ Giving insight tabṣiratan and a reminder wadhik'rā for every likulli slave ʿabdin who turns munībin
Giving insight and a reminder for every servant who turns [to Allāh].
وَنَزَّلْنَا And We have sent down wanazzalnā from mina the sky l-samāi water māan blessed mubārakan then We made to grow fa-anbatnā thereby bihi gardens jannātin and grain waḥabba (for) the harvest l-ḥaṣīdi
And We have sent down blessed rain from the sky and made grow thereby gardens and grain from the harvest
وَٱلنَّخْلَ And the palms trees wal-nakhla tall bāsiqātin for it lahā (are) layers ṭalʿun arranged naḍīdun
And lofty palm trees having fruit arranged in layers -
رِّزْقًۭا A provision riz'qan for the slaves lil'ʿibādi and We give life wa-aḥyaynā therewith bihi (to) a land baldatan dead maytan Thus kadhālika (will be) the coming forth l-khurūju
As provision for the servants, and We have given life thereby to a dead land. Thus is the emergence [i.e., resurrection].
