قُلْ Say qul O People yāahla (of) the Book l-kitābi You are not lastum on ʿalā anything shayin until ḥattā you stand firmly tuqīmū (by) the Taurat l-tawrāta and the Injeel wal-injīla and what wamā has been revealed unzila to you ilaykum from min your Lord rabbikum And surely increase walayazīdanna many kathīran of them min'hum what mā has been revealed unzila to you ilayka from min your Lord rabbika (in) rebellion ṭugh'yānan and disbelief wakuf'ran So (do) not falā grieve tasa over ʿalā the people l-qawmi the disbelieving l-kāfirīna
Say, "O People of the Scripture, you are [standing] on nothing until you uphold [the law of] the Torah, the Gospel, and what has been revealed to you from your Lord [i.e., the Qur’ān]." And that which has been revealed to you from your Lord will surely increase many of them in transgression and disbelief. So do not grieve over the disbelieving people.
إِنَّ Indeed inna those who alladhīna believed āmanū and those who wa-alladhīna became Jews hādū and the Sabians wal-ṣābiūna and the Christians wal-naṣārā whoever man believed āmana in Allah bil-lahi and the Day wal-yawmi the Last l-ākhiri and did waʿamila good deeds ṣāliḥan then no falā fear khawfun on them ʿalayhim and not walā they hum will grieve yaḥzanūna
Indeed, those who have believed [in Prophet Muḥammad (ﷺ)] and those [before him (ﷺ)] who were Jews or Sabeans or Christians - those [among them] who believed in Allāh and the Last Day and did righteousness - no fear will there be concerning them, nor will they grieve.
