وَإِذَا And when wa-idhā it is said qīla to them lahumu Follow ittabiʿū what mā Allah (has) revealed anzala Allah (has) revealed l-lahu they say qālū Nay bal we will follow nattabiʿu what mā we found wajadnā on it ʿalayhi our forefathers ābāanā Even if awalaw Shaitaan was kāna Shaitaan was l-shayṭānu (to) call them yadʿūhum to ilā (the) punishment ʿadhābi (of) the Blaze l-saʿīri
And when it is said to them, "Follow what Allāh has revealed," they say, "Rather, we will follow that upon which we found our fathers." Even if Satan was inviting them to the punishment of the Blaze?
