إِذْ When idh said qālati the Angels l-malāikatu O Maryam yāmaryamu Indeed inna Allah l-laha gives you glad tidings yubashiruki of a word bikalimatin from Him min'hu his name us'muhu (is) the Messiah l-masīḥu Isa ʿīsā son ub'nu (of) Maryam maryama honored wajīhan in fī the world l-dun'yā and (in) the Hereafter wal-ākhirati and of wamina those brought near (to Allah) l-muqarabīna
[And mention] when the angels said, "O Mary, indeed Allāh gives you good tidings of a word from Him, whose name will be the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary - distinguished in this world and the Hereafter and among those brought near [to Allāh].
وَيُكَلِّمُ And he will speak wayukallimu (to) the people l-nāsa in fī the cradle l-mahdi and (in) maturity wakahlan and (he will be) of wamina the righteous l-ṣāliḥīna
He will speak to the people in the cradle and in maturity and will be of the righteous."
قَالَتْ She said qālat My Lord rabbi how annā is [it] yakūnu for me lī a boy waladun and (has) not walam touch(ed) me yamsasnī any man basharun He said qāla Thus kadhāliki Allah l-lahu creates yakhluqu what mā He wills yashāu When idhā He decrees qaḍā a matter amran then only fa-innamā He says yaqūlu to it lahu Be kun and it becomes fayakūnu
She said, "My Lord, how will I have a child when no man has touched me?" [The angel] said, "Such is Allāh; He creates what He wills. When He decrees a matter, He only says to it, 'Be,' and it is.
