وَلَئِن And if wala-in you ask them sa-altahum Who man created khalaqa the heavens l-samāwāti and the earth wal-arḍa and subjected wasakhara the sun l-shamsa and the moon wal-qamara Surely they would say layaqūlunna Allah l-lahu Then how fa-annā are they deluded yu'fakūna
If you asked them, "Who created the heavens and earth and subjected the sun and the moon?" they would surely say, "Allāh." Then how are they deluded?
ٱللَّهُ Allah al-lahu extends yabsuṭu the provision l-riz'qa for whom liman He wills yashāu of min His slaves ʿibādihi and restricts wayaqdiru for him lahu Indeed inna Allah l-laha of every bikulli thing shayin (is) All-Knower ʿalīmun
Allāh extends provision for whom He wills of His servants and restricts for him. Indeed Allāh is, of all things, Knowing.
وَلَئِن And if wala-in you ask them sa-altahum Who man sends down nazzala from mina the sky l-samāi water māan and gives life fa-aḥyā thereby bihi (to) the earth l-arḍa after min after baʿdi its death mawtihā Surely, they would say layaqūlunna Allah l-lahu Say quli All Praises l-ḥamdu (are) for Allah lillahi But bal most of them aktharuhum (do) not lā use reason yaʿqilūna
And if you asked them, "Who sends down rain from the sky and gives life thereby to the earth after its lifelessness?" they would surely say, "Allāh." Say, "Praise to Allāh"; but most of them do not reason.
