تِلْكَ That til'ka the Home l-dāru (of) the Hereafter l-ākhiratu We assign it najʿaluhā to those who lilladhīna (do) not lā desire yurīdūna exaltedness ʿuluwwan in fī the earth l-arḍi and not walā corruption fasādan And the good end wal-ʿāqibatu (is) for the righteous lil'muttaqīna
That home of the Hereafter We assign to those who do not desire exaltedness upon the earth or corruption. And the [best] outcome is for the righteous.
مَن Whoever man comes jāa with a good (deed) bil-ḥasanati then for him falahu (will be) better khayrun than it min'hā and whoever waman comes jāa with an evil (deed) bil-sayi-ati then not falā will be recompensed yuj'zā those who alladhīna do ʿamilū the evil (deeds) l-sayiāti except illā what mā they used (to) kānū do yaʿmalūna
Whoever comes [on the Day of Judgement] with a good deed will have better than it; and whoever comes with an evil deed - then those who did evil deeds will not be recompensed except [as much as] what they used to do.
