قِيلَ It was said qīla to her lahā Enter ud'khulī the palace l-ṣarḥa Then when falammā she saw it ra-athu she thought it ḥasibathu (was) a pool lujjatan and she uncovered wakashafat [on] ʿan her shins sāqayhā He said qāla Indeed, it innahu (is) a palace ṣarḥun made smooth mumarradun of min glass qawārīra She said qālat My Lord rabbi indeed, I innī [I] have wronged ẓalamtu myself nafsī and I submit wa-aslamtu with maʿa Sulaiman sulaymāna to Allah lillahi (the) Lord rabbi (of) the worlds l-ʿālamīna
She was told, "Enter the palace." But when she saw it, she thought it was a body of water1 and uncovered her shins [to wade through]. He said, "Indeed, it is a palace [whose floor is] made smooth with glass." She said, "My Lord, indeed I have wronged myself, and I submit with Solomon to Allāh, Lord of the worlds."
