لِّيَشْهَدُوا۟ That they may witness liyashhadū benefits manāfiʿa for them lahum and mention wayadhkurū (the) name is'ma (of) Allah l-lahi on fī days ayyāmin known maʿlūmātin over ʿalā what mā He has provided them razaqahum of min (the) beast bahīmati (of) cattle l-anʿāmi So eat fakulū of them min'hā and feed wa-aṭʿimū the miserable l-bāisa the poor l-faqīra
That they may witness [i.e., attend] benefits for themselves and mention the name of Allāh on known [i.e., specific] days over what He has provided for them of [sacrificial] animals. So eat of them and feed the miserable and poor.
ثُمَّ Then thumma let them end l'yaqḍū their prescribed duties tafathahum and fulfil walyūfū their vows nudhūrahum and circumambulate walyaṭṭawwafū the House bil-bayti [the] Ancient l-ʿatīqi
Then let them end their untidiness and fulfill their vows and perform ṭawāf around the ancient House."
ذَٰلِكَ That dhālika and whoever waman honors yuʿaẓẓim (the) sacred rites ḥurumāti (of) Allah l-lahi then it fahuwa (is) best khayrun for him lahu near ʿinda his Lord rabbihi And are made lawful wa-uḥillat to you lakumu the cattle l-anʿāmu except illā what mā is recited yut'lā to you ʿalaykum So avoid fa-ij'tanibū the abomination l-rij'sa of mina the idols l-awthāni and avoid wa-ij'tanibū (the) word qawla false l-zūri
That [has been commanded], and whoever honors the sacred ordinances of Allāh - it is best for him in the sight of his Lord. And permitted to you are the grazing livestock, except what is recited to you. So avoid the uncleanliness of idols and avoid false statement,
حُنَفَآءَ Being upright ḥunafāa to Allah lillahi not ghayra associating partners mush'rikīna with Him bihi And whoever waman associates partners yush'rik with Allah bil-lahi then (it is) as though faka-annamā he had fallen kharra from mina the sky l-samāi and (had) snatched him fatakhṭafuhu the birds l-ṭayru or aw had blown tahwī him bihi the wind l-rīḥu to fī a place makānin far off saḥīqin
Inclining [only] to Allāh, not associating [anything] with Him. And he who associates with Allāh - it is as though he had fallen from the sky and was snatched by the birds or the wind carried him down into a remote place.
