قُلْ Say qul Shall hal We inform you nunabbi-ukum of the greatest losers bil-akhsarīna (as to their) deeds aʿmālan
Say, [O Muḥammad], "Shall we [believers] inform you of the greatest losers as to [their] deeds?
ٱلَّذِينَ Those alladhīna is lost ḍalla their effort saʿyuhum in fī the life l-ḥayati (of) the world l-dun'yā while they wahum think yaḥsabūna that they annahum (were) acquiring good yuḥ'sinūna (in) work ṣun'ʿan
[They are] those whose effort is lost in worldly life, while they think that they are doing well in work."
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ Those ulāika (are) the ones who alladhīna disbelieve kafarū in the Verses biāyāti (of) their Lord rabbihim and the meeting (with) Him waliqāihi So (are) vain faḥabiṭat their deeds aʿmāluhum so not falā We will assign nuqīmu for them lahum (on) the Day yawma (of) the Resurrection l-qiyāmati any weight waznan
Those are the ones who disbelieve in the verses of their Lord and in [their] meeting Him, so their deeds have become worthless; and We will not assign to them on the Day of Resurrection any weight [i.e., importance].
ذَٰلِكَ That dhālika (is) their recompense jazāuhum Hell jahannamu because bimā they disbelieved kafarū and took wa-ittakhadhū My Verses āyātī and My Messengers warusulī (in) ridicule huzuwan
That is their recompense - Hell - for what they denied and [because] they took My signs and My messengers in ridicule.
