Al-Humazah
The Traducer

الهمزة
وَيْلٌۭ Woe waylun to every likulli slanderer humazatin backbiter lumazatin
Woe to every scorner and mocker
ٱلَّذِى The one who alladhī collects jamaʿa wealth mālan and counts it waʿaddadahu
Who collects wealth and [continuously] counts it.1
يَحْسَبُ Thinking yaḥsabu that anna his wealth mālahu will make him immortal akhladahu
He thinks that his wealth will make him immortal.
كَلَّا ۖ Nay kallā Surely he will be thrown layunbadhanna in fī the Crusher l-ḥuṭamati
No! He will surely be thrown into the Crusher.1
وَمَآ And what wamā will make you know adrāka what mā the Crusher (is) l-ḥuṭamatu
And what can make you know what is the Crusher?
نَارُ A Fire nāru Allah l-lahi kindled l-mūqadatu
It is the fire of Allāh, [eternally] fueled,
ٱلَّتِى Which allatī mounts up taṭṭaliʿu to ʿalā the hearts l-afidati
Which mounts directed at the hearts.1
إِنَّهَا Indeed, it innahā (will be) upon them ʿalayhim closed over mu'ṣadatun
Indeed, it [i.e., Hellfire] will be closed down upon them
