وَلَا And (let) not walā grieve you yaḥzunka their speech qawluhum Indeed inna the honor l-ʿizata (belongs) to Allah lillahi all jamīʿan He huwa (is) the All-Hearer l-samīʿu the All-Knower l-ʿalīmu
And let not their speech grieve you. Indeed, honor [due to power] belongs to Allāh entirely. He is the Hearing, the Knowing.
أَلَآ No doubt alā Indeed inna to Allah (belongs) lillahi whoever man (is) in fī the heavens l-samāwāti and whoever waman (is) in fī the earth l-arḍi And not wamā follow yattabiʿu those who alladhīna invoke yadʿūna other than Allah min other than Allah dūni other than Allah l-lahi partners shurakāa Not in they follow yattabiʿūna but illā the assumption l-ẓana and not wa-in they hum but illā guess yakhruṣūna
Unquestionably, to Allāh belongs whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth. And those who invoke other than Allāh do not [actually] follow [His] "partners." They follow not except assumption, and they are not but misjudging.
هُوَ He huwa (is) the One Who alladhī made jaʿala for you lakumu the night al-layla that you may rest litaskunū in it fīhi and the day wal-nahāra giving visibility mub'ṣiran Indeed inna in fī that dhālika surely (are) Signs laāyātin for a people liqawmin (who) listen yasmaʿūna
It is He who made for you the night to rest therein and the day, giving sight. Indeed in that are signs for a people who listen.
