وَمَا And not wamā is kāna this hādhā the Quran l-qur'ānu that an (it could be) produced yuf'tarā by min other than Allah dūni other than Allah l-lahi but walākin (it is) a confirmation taṣdīqa (of that) which alladhī (was) before it bayna (was) before it yadayhi and a detailed explanation watafṣīla (of) the Book l-kitābi (there is) no lā doubt rayba in it fīhi from min (the) Lord rabbi (of) the worlds l-ʿālamīna
And it was not [possible] for this Qur’ān to be produced by other than Allāh, but [it is] a confirmation of what was before it and a detailed explanation of the [former] Scripture, about which there is no doubt, from the Lord of the worlds.
أَمْ Or am (do) they say yaqūlūna He has invented it if'tarāhu Say qul Then bring fatū a Surah bisūratin like it mith'lihi and call wa-id'ʿū whoever mani you can is'taṭaʿtum besides Allah min besides Allah dūni besides Allah l-lahi if in you are kuntum truthful ṣādiqīna
Or do they say [about the Prophet (ﷺ)], "He invented it?" Say, "Then bring forth a sūrah like it and call upon [for assistance] whomever you can besides Allāh, if you should be truthful."
بَلْ Nay bal they denied kadhabū what bimā not lam they could encompass yuḥīṭū (of) its knowledge biʿil'mihi and not walammā has come (to) them yatihim its interpretation tawīluhu Thus kadhālika denied kadhaba those alladhīna before them min before them qablihim then see fa-unẓur how kayfa was kāna (the) end ʿāqibatu (of) the wrongdoers l-ẓālimīna
Rather, they have denied that which they encompass not in knowledge and whose interpretation has not yet come to them. Thus did those before them deny. Then observe how was the end of the wrongdoers.
وَمِنْهُم And of them wamin'hum (is one) who man believes yu'minu in it bihi and of them wamin'hum (is one) who man (does) not lā believe yu'minu in it bihi And your Lord warabbuka (is) All-Knower aʿlamu of the corrupters bil-muf'sidīna
And of them are those who believe in it, and of them are those who do not believe in it. And your Lord is most knowing of the corrupters.
