Musnad Ahmad
It was narrated that 'Umar said: I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) wiping over his leather slippers (when doing wudoo’).
حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ، حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عُمَرَ، قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَمْسَحُ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ.
